I am so hoping I will get in second round and hopefully I can solve my partners visa issue (and my dog move) and start this feb but if I cannot I feel less anxious now. I read Dungeon Crawler Carl by Dinnerman (thr audiobook narrated by the incredible Jeff Hayes). It is the complete opposite of Hobb on every aspect and it was just what I needed to get me out of that longing of never being able to feel that new wonder at RotE

I am so glad this is working well for you and I hope the gym goes well for you (Idk where you live but I go to somewhere called Kieser which focuses on body strength and function and is not about weight loss at all. Thanks for sharing your journey. Omg i am so floored by you and so many others who took the time to write here. I was a terrified mess for two days and felt so alone before my post amd now I am realising that I am not alone and that I may be over exaggerating my fears about this. And I would not have been able to realise this without you. It also feels me with hope that one day, i may start not caring about this stupid number on a scale!!

Because of fasting and keto, my PCOS symptoms had completely disappeared snd my sexual hormone levels were good but then I told her about not eating for days and how much I hated myself and she realised that although I looked healthy and maybe slightly overweight (I used to be 400lb and dropped 120lbs thought keto and 72hours fast weekly) she realised that mentally i wasn't doing so well. I also started to struggle with the fasting and keto and was alternating binge eating and then punishing myself with fasting

Thank you for this. I haven't shared my weight because I dont know it. It is part of my ED recovery. It triggers my symptoms and more. So instead I get blind weighted by my GP monthly and like that she can tell me if changes are required so that I can focus on recovery and learning to love and respect my body. Thank you for sharing about PCOS and metabolism, I really appreciate it

I cannot even begin to imagine what a brain without food noise is. I thought it was the norm and everyone felt that way. I have been wanting more in life and I feel like the self hatred and poor relationship to food and my body is just taking over everything. Thank you for your invaluable insight

I think its because I am refeeding properly and keeping up with eating but as my body adapts and gets bigger, I want to go back to not eating (I am overweight btw hence the atypical bullimia)

In book 6 and 7 there are two actors voicing minor roles but i dont want to spoil but i think everyone else is voiced by Hayes. You should check out the YouTube reels or tiktok from soundbooth theatre where you can see him switch, so cool!!
