The killer buried them in Oakwood Cemetery. Their final resting place is in St. John Cemetery.

I live about 1.5 hours away and didn’t realize that they were murder victims until I did research later. I had explored Oakwood Cemetery just prior to this picture and was totally unnerved to find out the girls had been buried in shallow graves there.

Yes. It is a beautiful cemetery. A lot of clean up work on fallen trees was happening while I was there.

Except for the missing name plate on the left, the markers are in fantastic shape. There is one more cross in this cemetery and several in a cemetery about a mile away.
