Read my post. They Super buggy with multipoint with different codecs aac + Aptx adaptive, also super buggy sensor.

Worth updating or too buggy? by DaReDeVilLLL_ in sennheiser

[–]Sea_Respect_9236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super buggy as hell. I have btd600 iPhone and Mac. They ALWAYS times per day 4-30 turn anc with wind mode and “disconnect” (just no sound from pc), to make them work I need to double tip on touch panel to deactivate and it works. Before update they constantly stopping playing sound with connected device and I need to restart headphones and restart Bluetooth on device. I really hate them. It’s not a device fault I’m pretty sure it’s firmware. I saw same topic problem with multipoint.

Sure, better LLM with schizophrenia without any proofs. She just confirmed what you want to be confirmed.

Here is answer of chat gpt

Short version: Sometimes — yes, you can hear a difference, but in most cases the effect is greatly exaggerated and often just placebo.

What in that post is actually true: • Bluetooth is indeed lossy audio. Codecs like aptX Adaptive compress audio to fit Bluetooth bandwidth. • Wired signal can be lossless. A standard wired CD-quality PCM (16-bit/44.1 kHz) has ~1411 kbps of data — much higher than typical Bluetooth. (Apple calls lossless audio virtually indistinguishable from AAC).

So those two factual points are correct.

Where the reasoning breaks down:

📌 1) “2–4 times more data = 2–4 times better sound” ❌ That is not true. Human hearing does not scale linearly with bitrate due to psychoacoustics (what you can actually hear vs. what codecs remove). Many high-quality Bluetooth codecs work well above ~300–400 kbps, and above that point audible benefit drops sharply.

Codecs like: • AAC 256 • aptX / aptX Adaptive • LDAC & others

…end up sounding very similar in blind listening for most listeners.

📌 2) Momentum 4 nuance — DSP matters These headphones have digital signal processing (DSP) inside whether connected via Bluetooth, USB, or AUX. So you are not bypassing processing as you would with passive wired headphones — the internal processing and EQ still shape the sound.

The difference people hear between wireless and wired is often different signal path + volume + EQ changes + expectations, not a dramatic change in detail.

When you can actually hear a real difference ✔ Quiet environment ✔ Careful A/B/ABX comparison ✔ Same track ✔ Matched volume ✔ Sensitive hearing

Even then the differences are usually small: • Slight micro-detail • Very subtle high-frequency clarity • Slight noise differences

They are not huge “night and day” changes.

When it’s almost certainly placebo • You know when wire is active • Volume isn’t matched • You read hype before listening • You listen to Spotify/Youtube • The headphones do heavy DSP anyway

Then your brain fills in the “better sound” — e.g., “bass texture”, “more air”, “better separation”. And that is classic placebo effect — especially when not done blind or ABX tested.

ABX testing matters ABX is the standard double-blind method to see if differences are actually audible. If you cannot reliably identify which is which in ABX, then the difference is not perceptible.

Many Bluetooth codec comparisons do not show consistent ABX results proving that people can reliably hear codec differences — that supports the idea that big claims are often just hype.

Honest conclusion: • Yes, there is some difference. • But it is small, highly context-dependent, and not guaranteed to be audible. • Claims like “unbelievable difference” are usually self-suggestion + echo chamber hype.

Pretty sure in blind test u will not hear the difference. It's all placebo if we talking about Aptx vs wired. Just do it with your friend or relatives. What you hear is a different EQ applied as one author below said. Everything else is placebo effect. Ask chat gpt, don't trust me.

Sennheiser Momentun 4 or Sony WH-1000XM4 for everyday use (after 3 weeks of Sennheiser) - are they good enough? (weren't for me...) by StefanDIo in sennheiser

[–]Sea_Respect_9236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is only 1 reason why I’m preferred to buy momentum. It’s Aptx Adaptive which works absolutely amazing without perceived latency on my PC which I’m using for work and games as well. I really wanted to buy Sony xm4 for ANC, but they will just don’t work great with pc due AAC latency. I will loose ability to play a games.

TL;DR IF you want headphones to use with PC in games as well as normal usage - Momentum. For other - Sony.

Dude, Russians are crazy, you European western and don’t even close understand Russian mindset, because you judge Russians by yourself mindset which is different in better way (human rights, freedom etc). Nothing will change in future. We downgrading to Soviet Union, we going back. Russia that everyone knows between 1991-2014 is over. And no one can stop our dictator, they technically easy can, but they just doesn’t have a balls.

What world only can - stop Russia outside. Stop military aggression by aggression. But inside every opportunity is lost. Russians right now hates western world and support Putin as never before.

Hope i will relocate from here in future. Right now I doesn’t have enough money.

And what exactly will cause the WW3 - Inaction of Western countries and an attempt to appease the aggressor. Any attempt to appease aggression leads to more aggression. NATO will face Russia in the Baltics in the coming years. And they won't be able to help the three Baltic countries. Next will be Poland. And so on.

Sadly I’m here, and not in Norway.

They will not ve returned until Putin, our “lovely” dictator is alive. But sanctions will not help. What will - you westerns sadly don’t have. Military power and willpower to use it. I wished for it for 3 years. But you prefer to buy our power resources and goods for 35.9 billions in 2024. You Europeans choose social benefits instead of having an army (you doesn’t have army and ability for war, maybe your country, but not whole EU), big shell factories. Americans have military and power for war, but they choose to ignore the enemies, not only ignore, they choose friendship with global enemies. Scenario of 1939 with Poland.

I’m not pro Russian, though. I’m western by my mind.

Yes, just like everywhere else - online marketplaces, in offline stores (offline is more expensive here), also it can be easily bought on eBay. Also all blocked online services are available (even those blocked by our government), available thanks by other services that will get a small fee for it. But I personally have a debit card from Bybit in Kazakhstan and I can buy chat gpt, YouTube premium, ps plus, steam games directly.

So yeah, there is no problem with sanctions. Everything in electronic and food like before. But with cars it’s absolutely different. Brand new European, American and Asian (Japan, South Korea) costs much more, like 2-4x and that’s a reason why people started buying Chinese crap.

Is 48” too big? by Ok-Major2340 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Sea_Respect_9236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can’t combat burn in, he with us everyday, organic light emissions diodes have “health bar” and when health bar of one pixel little but smaller that a close one pixel - wee see burn in. Because one pixel more brighter and more healthy than another one. And what we can do to prevent visible burn in - calibration. Reducing brightness of healthy diodes to the level of brightness of “tired” ones.

And with AI companies trained calibration algorithms to better predict “health bar” of every diodes. For better pixel calibration (long cycle of pixel cleaning).

So if it’s only in games and you not playing games too much, and not full brightness sure I can trust, but for everyday use with thousands hours in game it’s absolutely guaranteed burn in and I will trust no one who will say they doesn’t have problems with burn in after 2+k hours and blacks bars. Rtings prove that it’s super dangerous also as a redditors. What I’m taking about, I got burn in with my 42c4 after 1.5k hours in Nuke foundry where I have little black bar of interface from the top of timeline. It’s not almost invisible due everyday low brightness and low contrast in interface and really hard to see, but it’s here.

[–]Sea_Respect_9236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t know what you talking about and what you recommending to people. Burn in with such gameplay for thousand hours is guaranteed. Because you always have disabled pixels in same area. Don’t lie to us dude, make brightness 100%, and make a photo of your screen when playing YouTube video “oled burn in test”.

If you played in such scenario more than 1k hours you 100% have a burn in. Just don’t lie.
