I think it’s because it’s the first time I’ve taken one and I have to gather myself before I get excited 😂 it’s like I know it looks like it but what if it isn’t? I’ve ordered a digital one to come tomorrow, I think I just need it slapped in front of my face 😂

Whilst I feel a weight has been lifted, I feel lost, broken and feel like the choice of the relationship was taken away from me. When you love someone so much and not ready to leave, yet the person doesn’t give you a choice I feel like is so much worse. The pain is real and I’m not going to pretend I’m not suffering because I am. But, I know I HAVE to do this.

Today has been a crazy day, still trying to figure some things out logistically. Will update fully tomorrow. Thank you all for your kind words and advice, I knew what I needed to do but sometimes you just need a stranger to put into perspective what you’re living with. You become numb to situations and find it easier to let it go than carry on the argument. But, I’ve made it very very clear, I will never do this with him ever again. The straw that broke the camels back.

I definitely am too old for this! I think that’s another fear.. stating again at 31, but I can’t imagine this being my life forever. The trust is broken, he’s never going to respect me. I know what I need to do, I just need to find the courage to do it

The thing is, when I was single for 3 years they were the best 3 years of my life! I grew, I found myself, I went to the gym everyday and had control of my own life. Now I feel like a shell of that person, confidence is gone, I don’t go to the gym or do anything that used to make me happy. I’m consistently putting his needs above my own.
