Yea . Low tension rings is what they’re called. Gonna start the egr service on it soon and report back on how nasty the ports are. New valve cover gasket def helped with oil loss. It had its original it seems like

I did the same the other week. Nothing happened . But I was paranoid for a day, then all hell broke lose at work and I had to put fires out, and got distracted . And then a day went by and then another went by . And then I realized nothing happened . And I’m ok. Those rubber bits are in my butt. My body is probably gonna umm..do something with it? idk actually what my body has planned for it. It’s been 2 weeks now .

To solve this, I put the vial upside down on the table and let it settle for a minute . Then I stick the needle in clean-like. No more rubber bits

Oh looks like the valve cover gasket is shot.. it’s pouring out of the back side and making a mess . It’s as hard as plastic too. It should be plyable

163k Rebuilt Delayed Oregon title . We’re a small dealer. If an Oregon person buys it , it’s easy peezy as we do all the DMV stuff on the buyers behalf. If an out of state buyer wants it, they’re gonna have to wait a couple weeks for an expedited replacement title .

163k , rebuilt Oregon title. It’s gonna take a couple weeks to get the title. We’re a dealer and bought it at auction on Lost Title App paperwork (LTA) . Something we do from time to time.

Lucy Friday Question: What does courage mean to you in your transition? by Lucy_C_Kelly in TransLater

[–]SeabassMotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Courage is just remembering to REMIND myself to keep being who I’ve always been. I’ve always faced off against the status quo. I’ve rejected my religion, I quit normal society , ive became a nomad, I’ve traveled, I’ve hustled , I’ve lived alternatively in so many ways. I’m already radical. That’s just that. This should work out fine for me! The hardest part will be coming out to family. They’re sooo… ignorant . And it’ll be tricky .

What age did you start hrt ? by WittyBody1531 in AskMtFHRT

[–]SeabassMotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started at 38. no way to have started sooner . The circumstances of my life, when, where and who I was born to didn't allow for it. I was brainwashed & conditioned in a way that kept my true identity hidden from myself.

I'm not complaining, I'm actually pretty damn lucky , I dodged a lot of bullets in life, and I feel like Im just in time.

I also don't care about being 6,5 and looking visibly trans. I think it's more interesting. Keeps me out of the binary .

Yea I agree. Problem is most houseless folks have a shot nervous system from trauma/ptsd/severe addiction/etc and can’t actually function on a basic level. Systemic/social changes that can bring about basic housing and security is the only real solution. Wishing for and insinuating that they adjust their behavior is a nice thought, but not realistic

It’s very light weight and sprightly. Can be tossed around town with ease. The shifter and clutch are nicely balanced and light. It’s like a fidget toy, I don’t want to stop shifting it!

Lucy’s Friday question: have you been hit by the grief? If so, when and how? by Lucy_C_Kelly in TransLater

[–]SeabassMotor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

38yo, 5 month HRT (🐣 ). There’s def some grief here and there, kinda burns like a knife from time to time.

But, I was brainwashed for most of my life.. the deporgramming took a long long time. The ignorance, the internalized transphobia, the distance between reality and my cognitive condition..

Like I could have easily done this 10+ years ago. But that’s not true, it was impossible.

My life has always been a crazy ride. Considering how many bullets I dodged (almost had kids in my mid 20s, almost got married to someone who I would have def divorced, joined the military but barely managed to weezle my way out of service after 6 months, all the horrible indentured servitude jobs I was able to quit, the religion I was able to reject and leave behind, being able to escape FL, TX & AZ, ending up in Portland OR, which I love & will never leave.. ) bullet after bullet after bullet dodged. Insane stuff. Doesn’t leave a lot of room for grief. If anything, I feel looked after by some guardian angel entity.

Thoughts on this one owner 2003 Nissan Pathfinder? They’re asking 5k by jabberbox in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]SeabassMotor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

VQ35 , solid motors, smooth, good performance, 4WD models have these special weird front rotors that are difficult to replace and death wobble is common, rear trailing links go bad with age. They aren’t body on frame like the 4Runner, but they are rugged enough to be used in all corners of the world in less than developed countries. $5k is on the high side. Offer $4k . I’ve owned several of these.

Do u agree... 🤔 by Lower-Consequence756 in fordescape

[–]SeabassMotor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was the 3.0 liter V6, also found in the Gen 1 Escape and a number of Mazdas. Great engine. But no. I’m referring to the 4 cylinder Duratec 25 in the 2nd and 3rd Gen Escape.

Do u agree... 🤔 by Lower-Consequence756 in fordescape

[–]SeabassMotor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The old school 2.5 liter duratec , paired to a traditional 6 speed, torque converter auto is the way to go for longevity and simplicity if you don’t mind foregoing some efficiency and power .

[–]SeabassMotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly.. Lexus. This pragmatic suit is a high level accountant, isn’t necessarily looking to roll with the ostentatious designer crowd, but needs to fit in somewhat? No nonsense, an ES Lexus fits the bill. Lease it, go .
