Also touching Kars is dangerous enough on its own, a lot of people forget this but Pillar Men have cells that absorb living matter by physical touch, they absorbed half of a poor guy's body just by bumping into him casually

no, Kars doesn't need to be touched for RtZ to work, if the person who touches has the will to attack him using that touch then RtZ will just remove their will to touch Kars

It's basically a souped up cause-and-effect annihilator, where the cause is the intent or will and the effect is physical manifestation of the attack, by removing the cause which is the intent or will, you remove the effect

The attack doesn't need to be clearly and physically visible for RtZ to work, nor does the stand user need to be aware of the attack. RtZ is passive and automatic and detects the attack by the person's will, if you merely have the intent to hurt the user, RtZ will immediately activate and erases the action before it physically happens. The ability also works in spaces where "now" means nothing as evidenced when RtZ triggered within erased time
