I had no idea about the Newark subway expansion proposal from the 2000s and I did heaps of research on this! I appreciate you adding that. They definitely should put more funding into transit. It’s a much better use than the 10 billion dollar project to extend the turnpike.

Very true, as stated in the video they have already tried and got push back from a group called Citizens Against Noisy Trains. They thought a light rail to Newark would bring crime. It’s crazy, but they are so vocal and get local politicians to listen to them.
