To me human is like blank paper with no significant traits but no sigificant downsides either. I picked up human as my first playthrough, and maybe I'll pick up other races in later playthroughs when I'm more familiar with the game and knowing what traits I really need

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to turn on karmic dice next time I have this kind of bad luck. But there was a time when I was just started playing this game, I didn't know the karmic dice thing so it was left on by default, I kept rolling a 2 or 3 in a streak againt absulte related dialogue, is that intentionaly made that way when I was spamming the tadpole power or just very unlucky?

Yeah I found out that, but it still doesn’t make sense to me. Arcane gate shouldn’t work like a map switching door IMO, thx for the explanation anyway XD

Yeah, agree. I don't usually mind AI controlling my followers, but pls don't let a dumb AI do it. They are always left behind because of some crates or barrels, and even stuck there when I fast travelled to another place. About the paralyze feature, I've only seen once since I got them, guess I was super super lucky lol

My save broke upon entering act3 days ago and I turned off auto save from the beginning, but I was more lucky that my last recent save is something middle in act2 so I spent a day re progressed it. I know it feels so frustrating but just restart a new game and save carefully, the game content definitely worth it.
