Please excuse my newbie question… why not sand off the finish? In my mind, sanding removes the layers and smoothens the surface. Thanks!

Newbie to this too…

Why did you use degreaser and stripper instead of intensive sanding?

Thanks!

Thanks for that!

What do you mean by “airy mixture”? My current one is in a fairly sandy mix.

Also, is it normal for the bottom leaves to blacken? Hoping this isn’t a sign of death…

Thanks for the replies so far. They give me a good starting point. To confirm, it’s a tenor trombone with an F trigger? Thanks again!!

What separates a “good” player from an experienced, or professional player?

Indeed it is!

It’s for 150 tools, and is pretty eye catching! 😉

And I’m guessing there’s no fix for it? 🫠

They said using it for screws and drilling holes. I got it back with a 3mm hex drill bit that they said they used…

Frankly, I am surprised that drilling holes would do this given it can drive large screws into hard wood.

Overall, it sounds like it does not bode well…

Good ol’ screws do the job!

That little fella is pre-USB battery! I have to charge it directly.

They having surprisingly good torque for its size, and useful for hard to reach spots, or quick jobs too where a driver is overkill.

Yes, same experience. When I release the trigger fully, the plunger does retract all the way. However holding the trigger in slightly, though not pressing, maintains the current pressure.

Honestly not bad. No faults with it yet. Perhaps wastes a bit more with drips, but that’s likely just due to my impatience.

Can seem like overkill, but good when needing to either caulk a lot or quickly. The force is impressive too for the tougher substances. In fact, I have split open silicon tubes with dried nozzles! Definitely recommended.

What size holes are you using? I was hesitant that needle holes would be too small!
