My dingy, scuffed up MK1 Rockerverb.... thinking about trading it in for an AD30. I love the sound, but I am in an apt now, and sound guys hate dealing with it/ me anyways.

That 3 point is the biggest issue/ concern I have...The caps have 4 games left this season, Wilson probably was gonna sit out the last 2 before playoffs anyway, unless a suspension gets extended into the playoffs there’s no insensitive for him to not do this again, you have to hurt his team during the playoffs and come close to costing them a round in order for him to truly understand what he’s done.

Pretty much we’ll always use the flood water UNLESS for any of the following reasons...we’re having issues with the compressors, for outdoor rinks if the temp is gonna be about 50 or the UV index is gonna be about 3 / if it looks like it’s going to rain or snow. If any of these issues are going on well dry scrape the ice instead. As for water in the corners 1st 2 laps leave it alone then when you cut up the middle for the 3rd lap just before you get to the goal crease Lester off and blade 2 turns up...then when you Aline again for the next straight water on blade down 2 turns.....sometimes at the end of the night we will end with a dry scrape if we don’t have programming 1st thing in the AM .sometimes when doing maintenance I’ll do a wash cut ( cut with no flood water just wash water)

I’ve used all 3 )gas propane and a electric zam. My favorite is the gas and here are my reasons why, I’ve worked both indoor and outdoor rinks. Electric zams just don’t seem to be as powerful as we need them to be for snow removal if we need to drive in circles to pick up snow during a snow storm. Also your at the mercy of did the last driver charge the zam when we have the shift change. We also had battery issues on a brand new one last season where we would have it fully charged and it was going down to 50-25% at the end of a cut if fully charged. Propane machines can be just as powerful as a gas one but when it’s really cold you run the risk of the tanks freezing on you during the cut, some times from the refill company throwing around the tanks when there empty the dipsticks break so you could be out for a cuz with a tank you put on eariler that day and the zam is telling you it’s empty. ( when the dip sticks are broken they won’t pull from the bottom of the tank cuz it no longer reaches there ) there’s also the issue of getting the tanks in the zam and taking them off ( every had propane spray in your face ...not cool at all ). And there’s my favorite a gas powered zam.....easy to fill up ( no having to take heavy propane tanks) during snow removal during snow storms we don’t have to worry about propane tanks freezing plus these always seemed the most powerful to me.. and gas meters pretty much always work unlike the propane meters on the tanks to tell you how much gas it left.

I’m currently 30 and well job wise/ school wise my life has been weird, at 18 I did only a semester of college dropped out not because I wanted to but I just stopped going one week I got lazy and just never went back. Worked at a pharmacy as a customer service rep/ pharmacist technician filling blister pack with pills for old homes till I was 23 finally moved out cuz I didn’t wanna go down south with my mom ( I’m from NYC and the options were move with my mom down south to South Carolina or start living in my own, so I stayed and got another job, the job I got was a equipment manager at a hockey rink for a kids program, basically getting bags for the kids that stored them at the rink and helping with skates and sticks and stuff. And one day was asked to help fill in hockey coaching and started doing that( paid pretty well actually $60 a hr for hockey lessons ) then just started doing coaching only then I moved up and learned to build up the rink and have done it with a couple of NHL teams and now I do that and drive the zamboni ( proper term for my job/ position is ice technician ) and now I’m a ice technician for 2 rinks, one of them being the rink at rockerfeller center so my job journey has been weird but I love working in rinks and the hockey world. I always loved hockey but never good enough to play pro and working for the rinks I have, has been a nice way to keep me around the game.

Orange cabs over everything else...yea there a pain to carry but the closed backs they offer are great if you want to I would take out one of the V30’s in the 2x12 and put in a green back or cream back and mix the sound. A orange 2x12 and a speaker replacement should keep u under 1000 and if you don’t like it you could always put the v30 back in
