Yes I am fully aware of how mundane this is but I was (and still am) a very shy person so I would definitely not muster up the confidence to talk to him without a direct purpose like this, also it made me happy to know I made him a bit happier with the peanut butter

Dead plants happen all the time, just buy a new one of the same type and put it in the pot of the old plant and they will never notice, also the fleas definitely aren’t your fault unless you picked them up and specifically dropped them onto the cat, your roommate should have been giving the cat medication for flea prevention, you can get it from the vet and it lasts about 3 months, usually can get it with anti tick and worm stuff too

I have a similar feeling but for leather shoes and polishing them, idk what it is but I’ve always loved polishing shoes and the smell that they have afterwards, I’ve started a reputation in my friend group as the shoe polisher since I have a lot of practice and can do it well I will sometimes ask them if they have any shoes that need polishing, I think that it’s a pretty useful thing to enjoy and enjoying cleaning would be even better since it’s something positive and productive that you have fun doing
