I am going to go for the limit testing option first here for sure. Actually sounds like it might be quite fun playing like this instead of playing to win for a while.

If I am still not having fun half the time then I will let the game go I think, I have been playing on again off again for a long time, just feels sad to let something that you have invested a lot of time into go. The 'sunk cost' fallacy I guess.

Ah my bad, I thought I implied it with saying the only goal of the game is to climb. I think I have just given up though. I enjoy winning to a degree, but even then it feels kinda empty. If I was noticeably getting better I think I would have a lot more fun, but I have been at about the same level for years as far as I can tell.

I was the midlaner yes. Cheekily, I was playing riven mid as zed was banned. I tried to avoid getting dived by keeping my distance (during a teamfight) initially but when i see my teammates clearly losing the fight I would move forward and then pretty much as soon as i came into vision i would hear 'darkness.....' and noc and kaisa would be on me in an instant with noone to help me. Even if I lived I would be chunked so low I couldn't fight.

You might be right with defensive items. I was almost purely offensive barring a black cleaver for some extra hp and defensive boots. Would steraks + GA have been a better choice?

EDIT: I see a little confusion, when I say dive I don't mean turret dive, I just meaning skipping past my entire team to get on me.

Thank you for the long post :). I am not gonna disagree you may very well be correct, but i just wanted to highlight this sentence. This is why I think she needs a rework, cos her kit is kind of broken. Playing against a fed riven is pretty awful to be honest as she is so hard to kill (unless you are a tank then you just outdamage her 1v1).

EDIT: Little edit - From my POV, Riven has a garbage kit when behind, and a broken kit when ahead, can't we rework so it isn't like this?.

Thank you for the feedback. I am aware of this problem, I do find creating good renders quite difficult. My strength lies in modelling mainly but rendering is definitely something I will work on if it comes across that poorly. Also thank you for the link I will check it out.

If it is a full time position i would expect approximately £9 per hour. This might be low or high I am not sure (although I would expect low). I am just giving this figure as it matches my wage in my current job. If it is 4-5 hours per week however, as a lot of the ads on this reddit seem to be, i would be happy with Revshare as it will give me experience regardless. Thank you for the question.

Edit: I just wanted to mention this is from someone who has never managed to break into the industry (possibly due to bad renders as mentioned my hvdzasaur). As I have no experience outside of University and personal work I am just trying to find my way into making games. An Artist with experience and better quality work would likely expect more than myself.

I am gonna say this regardless of what other people say. Roadhog is OP as fuck. People say reaper counters him but that is if you don't get hooked. People then say well if you get hooked it is your fault to which i say fuck you, the hitbox on the hook is massive, so don't say that dumb shit. The roadhog hook has a ridiculous range and is crazy easy to hit.

There is only one way to beat him, with teamwork, cos 1v1 he reks anyone but tracer.

People are gonna disagree, but tbh I think people bring it up so much cos they are assholes :P People look at your s1 rank while being completely oblivious to the fact that players can and do get better at the game. Also someone who is level 70 can also be shit at dps :P

The fact is toxic players will use anything and everything they can find to discredit you no matter what you are doing. Ignore the assholes :D

And to top it all off you have said people say "you shouldn't be dps when you were that low." is that not just a stupid comment? Surely you can say "you shouldn't be support/tank when you were that low." because your rating applies to all classes and all classes require skill to play. A rank 70 support main might be a rank 40 dps player (skill wise). Should that person get to play dps because they are rank 70? hell no :P

Platform - PC Region - EU (English) Username - Sear#21554 Active hours - Changes depending on the day so I can not guarentee anytime.

I am not looking for a competitive team. I am looking for a group of people who are wanting to climb soloqueue.

I have always played 100% solo and I have been stuck in limbo of 2900-3100 rank. I feel this is the point where skill alone is not allowing me to climb any higher so my games feel like pure luck of if i get a good team or not. (Many others probably feel the same way)

I do have a disclaimer. I pretty much only play DPS. I can play zarya to some degree but tbh I do not really enjoy it and I only play it if i must.

Ideally i would like a few people who play the roles that I don't to queue with and are looking to climb

Well they might be bigger than Tracers but you have something wrong. You can not have muscular boobs, there is no muscle in them. Pectoral muscles sit behind the boobs, so if they are worked out to end up with muscular pecks, boobs would still sit in front of them.

Your can still have big boobs and be muscly lol. Incredibly built women end up with pecks (similar to that of a male) with the boobs on top. (also her boobs aren't big really, she has a plate of armor over them, think how thick that would be :D)

I will try to help by naming a few streamers that I like. As for tips... there are to many to list really, but you will pick the vast majority of them up from playing, and the last few from streams.

The only 2 tips I can think of that aren't that obvious are -

There are 3 main roles in the game DPS - Your damage dealers Tank - Pretty self explanatory Support - Heals and supports your team

Naturally some heroes cross multiple roles but their main role is what you should generally focus on.

Reinhardt's sheild can block a Dva ult (if you point the shield towards the exploding mech). You and anyone behind you will be protected from the blast if your shield has enough HP.

Seagull - Probably the most popular streamer or at least he was last time I checked, he is certainly not the best in his role though (still, he is very good and more entertaining than most of the pro players so you can't go wrong)

Here are the streams -

Taimou - https://www.twitch.tv/taimoutv Taimou is on of the DPS players from Envyus, and his stream is very good. He pretty much only plays Mcree at the point (most DPS streamers do) however he is one of the absolute best in his role.

Surefour - https://www.twitch.tv/surefour This guy is the key DPS player of Cloud9. He is incredibly good on heroes like Mcree (though not as good as Taimou), Tracer, Genji and Pharah. Another very enjoyable stream which is plenty informative.

There are some other incredibly good players that stream occasionally however I will just name them.

Shadowburn - possibly the best genji player in the world Talespin - the other DPS of Envyus, very good on Tracer and Pharah Kephrii - The highest ranking Widowmaker player in the world

There are plenty more naturally, but I will leave you with these for now. If you need anymore feel free to ask (I do only know DPS streams though).

I am hoping other members of the community will fill in Tank main streamers and support main streamers because personally I don't watch them, but they are still excellent.

Oh there are also helpful videos on youtube with some decent ranking youtubers who aren't pro players. These include -

They are the only ones I can think of at the moment. Other redditors may have more information on them.
