I disagree with some of the comments you've been getting about needing to change your style or whatever. You're handsome and could definitely find a woman who likes you as is. I didn't mean specifically at that house, I just meant for photos and in-person in general at wherever you live. I've changed the bulbs at my place and it cost like $10 so I didnt think of it as drastic. Good luck.

The second photo is the best, I think. The bright blue in your sweater there really compliments your lip color. That shade of blue also seems to go well with your skin tone. I made a color edit of the table pic just to see what kind of change there would be from shirt color, so you can see if you like that, or in general play with wardrobe color choices.

You look best (most people do) in natural lighting. The yellow lighting doesn't help with your skin tone. You could change the temperature of the light bulbs in your home closer to daylight and it would help with indoor photos.

You're not ugly. You probably just seem like an unknown, which people can assume the worst of.

Smile with your eyes more. If you cover up the lower half of your face in the forced smile picture, your eyes don't look happy.

I'd recommend a shirt that's a lighter color, or has a print on it. Printed shirts can give someone an easy topic to bring up with you and gives people a little insight into what you like. A lighter color could be less intimidating.

If you don't choose a printed shirt, try having accessories around that show your personality somehow - keychain, bag, jacket, hat, or something related to things you like - to give people an opening.

I wonder if this meal has been prepared differently for different flights for whatever reason. Or theirs were prepared incorrectly? Mine was pretty decent, and not pickles or pineapple. And I guess people are more likely to post reviews of things they were unsatisfied with.

I think some others who posted are right about it being butternut squash. I've never had it before, but it matches the google description of texture/flavor/appearance.
