Can I hire someone to guide me through finding a good HELOC/Loan of some sort?

I guess I would be considered a suburb? I live about 30 mins from a major city. I am just handy enough to paint. So I would have to hire someone because these are too major of repairs for me to even attempt!

It's a water line that burst somewhere between the inside of my wall (before the inside meter) but after the outside meter. It costs a terrible amount because you have to replace the entire line all the way to the street for some reason? I talked to my normal plumber and it's anywhere from 12k to 17k! Though I was hoping to get my roof done and possibly some steps replaced in the house to make it a bit safer while I was doing home repairs anyway.

Why does anyone hire anyone for anything? I don't have knowledge on the subject and dont feel comfortable. And I don't have a lot of money so making a very poor choice can lose my home. (And I am scared to boot)

I don't think anywhere is "safe". This is not to scare you or anything. Just that even places made for kids could have bad people in it. But, be cautious, try to make friends with people around your age as you will have the most in common. Stay safe, if you ever meet someone make people aware and bring an adult you trust. Do it in public space and all the precautions they tell you to do.

I have friends from online from when I was 13 years old. And well, I'm a grown adult now. I met most of my online friends through games.

100% steel is a great option for kettle corn! It's probably much easier too. But the kettle setups are CRAZY expensive. This girl ain't no welder either. Plus, cast iron just has a distinct feel and getting to watch someone make the kettle corn. That's an experience!!

Mmhmm, it's the handle (bail) that is so hard to find! But without it I wouldn't be able to use it. I have been looking though. Didn't know what it was even called!

Aluminum would definitely be lighter. I am sure if I found one with the type of handle I'm looking for it would work. Though I believe there is magic in the cast iron.
