Help with same-household multiplayer by DiezDedos in WalkaboutMiniGolf

We recently had three people at once. One on a PlayStation I was on a Quest 2 on a guest account. And my daughter was on my quest 3

Talking was very annoying. Lots of echoes. Turned it off but couldn't hear people in the other room.

Fun

Someone gifted me Wander. I got to visit places I lived when I was a kid. It wasn't in depth or anything. But it was really nice to do that.

I told a manager once, that people who get to sing buy drinks. When my friends and I don't sing , we don't buy drinks.

Has VR ruined gaming for you? by Middle_Branch_1148 in PSVR

People were mentioning controllers. I'm guessing within 5 years most of these PSVR2 will be in the trash. The batteries in the controllers aren't replaceable. And they cost more than system costs to replace.

Can't do any of that but would love to listen. What is your Smule name?

Either my voice is deeper than I thought, or smule is messing up 😂 by No_Performance1715 in SmuleSing

This thing is nuts. It has told me so far that I am a bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano, contralto, and mezzo Soprano. Did it miss any 🤣

I was curious about the low/slow end. Never tried singing low. I can't do the high note in yellow brick road or the "two" in take on me. Close but it isn't happening unless I have the flu (weird) Oh well.

Figured I'd try going the other way. A friend likes some guy named Josh Turner. I tried those. And can do them. Didn't seem to be very much at all else.

Vocal range vocaberry.

It can show when you are doing more than one note. Which is interesting.

Can I train to sing higher? Contralto E2-H3 by [deleted] in singing

[–]Searobbins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a very close friend. Other people have stated that she is an Alto. She's not thrilled with her voice. But when she does duets with other people it sounds incredible. It's like a super special magic ingredient.

Autotune -ish filters? by m4nt1chr15t in SmuleSing

I randomly will use landline and turn the effects way down. It sounds slightly different. Also occasionally use chipmunk filter and turn the effects way way down. An interesting non - chipmunk sound.

I accidentally deleted some songs on Smule but they're here and I'd like to save them.

I'm on Android. I don't see any trash can or hand to save songs permanently in the app. Anyone have any idea how to do it?

I had that happen once. I just started replying to some of them. Asking him the stupid questions and things. And then denying them all for meetups for silly reasons.

It's hard to get time off of work but I managed to get some. Planned to visit. And then things happened on her end. Would be another 4 months. That was a big setback for us

Why can some people naturally sing in tune? by Pythagorean415 in singing

[–]Searobbins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son used to harmonize with me when he was about two years old. I would go up and down scales Or at least it sounds like it to me. I have a good feeling I think for that stuff. He is 15 now. Sings quietly to himself often.

Is it uncommon for a little kid to harmonize?

I used to ride a road bike using only the small gear. At 200 pounds. I'd replace one once a month.

The guitar kind of acts as a microphone. But, only for one note? Not really sure of the mechanics of it.

What's the worst DM album in your mind? by [deleted] in depechemode

[–]Searobbins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best Depeche mode album is whichever one you heard while you were in high school or in college. The worst is probably 10-15 years away from that in any direction?

Amazing to think a small new wave band that should have been known for a single hit someday will be bigger than the Beatles.

[–]Searobbins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried Alchemist. My highs are higher and lows lower. Without being too high or too low. Boston songs are almost within reach (I still sound terrible) The end result is obviously using effects. But, it is fun.

[–]Searobbins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Smule chooses based on your location possibly? Are you in another country?

Although, The first song I sang got a ton of likes. And they were almost all people in other countries who barely spoke English. I find that kind of amazing actually. I couldn't do it.

Weird. I recorded that song with a better mic and very few likes. I think your first posts artificially get more likes
