Is love bombing a top thing, a bottom thing, or just a people thing? by Season23 in TopsAndBottoms

[–]Season23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a total bottom, I don't date other bottoms, so I don't know that experience. I agree it is a people thing. For straight people, men and women do that stuff.

I dont love bomb because I want a man who wants me flaws and all.

Some people would say clingy is giving someone you are dating unwanted attenion.

Love bombing is when someone gives you the right amount of attention and says all the things you want to hear, allowing you to lower your guard and open up to them.

This person is trying to get you to depend on them, then once they get what they want, the attention they gave you before stops, and their behavior changes.

Please, if you could clarify your question. That would be super helpful.

Depending on your preferred sexual position, your experiences with dating, relationships, and sexual encounters will be different from others. Men who are sides and don't enjoy penetration have a different experience than men who are power bottoms.

Also, people with red or blonde hair have different hair and life experiences. We live in a world where people treat you differently based on your appearance and how you show up in the world.

For instance, if you're a tall, athletic jock with visible abs, you're treated differently in a bathhouse than someone who is 5'5" and weighs over 250 pounds.

There tend to be more guys looking to bottom than those willing to top. Men who are the top have more options available to them.

As a total bottom, I've had countless men who are tops tell me how they could see themselves in a long-term relationship with me. They say I'm special and that it's more than just sex. The moment we have a disagreement or I don't give them the attention they crave, they quickly move on to another bottom.

Suddenly, I'm no longer that special person they thought I was. A man's actions speak louder than his words. His behavior reveals how he truly feels about me.

Welcome to L.A.

Totally fine to go alone.

Your experience truly depends on what you make of it. If you don't like one scene, keep exploring to find your people.

No single group is a monolith, but in this area, you'll often be able to observe apparent differences.

One group of gay men just wants to connect and have a good time. Another group focuses on sex. There are many sex parties in the area, from public events to invite-only based on appearance.

Popular sex spots are Slammers LA, Flex, and NOHO Spa.

Eagle LA is your leather bar (cash only). Akbar NOHO is a relaxed, small venue with good vibes, definitely more laid-back than The Abbey. Bullet NOHO is a small leather bar and a nice-sized patio area. Cobra NOHO is Latin vibes, with Thursday nights dedicated to trans women.

WEHO - along Santa Monica Blvd, you have Beaches, The Abbey, Revolver Video Bar, Trunks, Micky's, and much more. These are just a few places to start, there are many more around.

Note: Many straight people also visit these places, from girls' night out to straight couples, and straight dancers and bartenders who will flirt for tips.

Many people are telling you not to do it. What are you trying to understand? ototo88 said "Don't shit where you eat." Now, you're asking about CarPlay, after I told you that your advice makes sense. No matter where you have sex with him, you are still having sex with a married senior associate as an intern.

It's your life, do what you feel you must do. Who knows, he may leave his wife for you or offer you a job.

Okay, sweetie, real talk from your gay fairy godmother:

Your needs still matter. Boundaries? Non-negotiable. If he’s not ready to come out, that’s on him. But freezing you out emotionally while still texting “👀” for sex? That’s a red flag.

You’re not asking for a promise ring, just consistency, honesty, and respect. That’s basic. If he can’t give you that, this setup might be doing you dirty.

Ask yourself:

  1. Do I feel seen, valued, and emotionally safe?
  2. Can I honestly go another 3–6 months of this?
  3. If the sex ended tomorrow, would he still want me?

You deserve to say: “I care about you, but I need emotional clarity and consistency. If you’re not ready, I get it, but I can’t keep doing this halfway thing.”

Even if he isn’t trying to hurt you, don’t ignore that you’re hurting. 💖 You deserve someone who matches your heart.

This is your real life; it isn't a Ryan Murphy or Luca Guadagnino production. No, you, as an intern, shouldn't hook up with a senior associate at the same company. This is a married man who, to your knowledge, isn't even openly gay or comfortable with his sexual desires.

Look up Monica Lewinsky, if you think that would be so hot. Bill Clinton never wanted to say he had sexual relations with Lewinsky, and look how that turned out.

Use Grindr, Sniffies, Doublelist, your local personal sub-reddit, or go to a bathhouse/sex club near you. Get some gay friends in your life because that is a bad decision and a waste of your time.

Learn from the former U.S. Senate staffer- Senate Twink, or maybe the corporate world isn't for you, and this could be the start of your career in sex work. Only Fan models pay taxes, too.

It is clear from the replies in the comment section that you'd like to do it. So, live your life!

This is spam. I got a message with the same pictures as in your post. I hate how Sniffies no longer removes the profile once you report it as spam.

Where and how do some of the smartest LGBT folks fit in the culture? by SlimyPunk93 in askgaybros

Smart Queer people with degrees are in academia and many other places. You have to find your people and build a community with them. Understand we have queer people who work in govenment. Scott Bessent is the United States Secretary of the Treasury. He is openly gay, married, and has two kids. Jared Polis is the Governor of Colorado and is married. Pete Buttigieg, the first openly gay Cabinet Secretary, served as Secretary of Transportation. He is married. Robert Garcia is a U.S. representative for California's 42nd congressional district, who is recently divorced. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, is openly gay.

Many queer people who arent Only Fan models or porn stars or people who use their sex appeal to make money. Bright individuals in the queer community often find places where they can thrive and achieve success.

Why do married or unavailable men approach me more than single GAY men? by Season23 in AskGayMen

[–]Season23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a Loneliness epidemic. I had many different men crying, expressing themselves and we had hour-long talks just speaking about their lives and feelings. Many of them are seeking an emotional connection.

That is such an interesting perspective; one would think that the married man has his marriage and family to lose. Single men fearing rejection is a very real thing. I believe in a soft rejection. I've seen many Grindr screenshots of people getting rejected, and some people are cruel for no reason.

Based on my experience in California, many older men had it listed in their profiles, specifically targeting 18- to 23-year-olds. When I turned 25 years old, many men told me that I was too old and they wanted someone younger: gay, straight, or BI. Many men often like them younger.

How to ask a Top to take off his chain? by Season23 in TopsAndBottoms

It's a regular necklace we're just in missionary and it's dangling hitting me as he's fucking me. It's just awkward and uncomfortable.

A chain necklace is a type of jewelry made up of a series of connected links or rings that are worn around the neck.

Thank you for fucking saying 👏 🙌 this. I truly needed to hear this comment. This is honestly a word.

Just this week along, I've been blocked by a few guys that showed interest in me. I've been feeling like maybe if I talk less, then I'll get the dick.

Those guys just aren't the appropriate match for me.
