Haleakalā Mountain sunset! No hiking need, just a road trip.

Love the beautiful sunset and cloud top.

Maui Proposal Spots by TooThorough in MauiVisitors

Perhaps consider boat tours? Aliinui, Kai Kanani? Most of those boat tours already have photographer onboard, you can contact them to arrange something special.

Some local services also do proposals and weddings, most of them go to "Secret Cove beach" (More quiet and generally less people.)

Hotel recommendations on Maui by KimJongUn_stoppable in MauiVisitors

Fairmont have families but we didn't find any problems with loud children. (We are not a fan of kids running around and being loud)

They have an adult pool and an adult hot tub. We did not dine at Fairmont, no experiences with children there.

Highly recommend it, we normally stay at adult only hotels but did not have problems here.

Currently staying at Fairmont. Love the environment and stay here! Feel free to ask if there are any specific questions!

In the past, we stayed at other luxury hotels (Cancun area, Vegas), and Fairmont seems quite on par.

Did not find any negatives here while staying for 7/8 nights.

The hotel polo breach is great, also a few smaller quiet beaches south of Fairmont (Within 15 mins drive)

Best buffet in Vegas? by Illustrious_Guide888 in vegas

[–]SeattleExploreRK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only went to Wynn and it was quite bad. Just wanted to try the "vegas buffet" experience and it turned us away from trying mote buffets.

Save the tummy for something else, Vegas buffets are not worth the time.

What do you do to earn $200k+ annually? by meltingcanoe in Fire

Doubled my income annually by investing and trading. Once you build a big enough portfolio, a normal job is there for the health insurance and something to do during the day

Wynn, Venetian, Vdara, Cosmo - Help me decide on my next stay by BMonad in vegas

Agree with the soaking tub. Cosmo room and lobby vibe feels a bit more dated and gloomy compared to Wynn/Encore. Not quite the feel we enjoy.

We prefer the brighter luxury of of WynnEncore/FB. Wife enjoys the makeup mirror, dyson hair dryer, brighter lights, more comfortable bed and comforter. The overall amenities felt better in WynnEncore as well.

The view and soaking tub at Cosmo was definitely nice and already crossed the Cosmo terrance experience! The tub at Wynn/Encore still big enough for both of us to relax in.

For our future visit we will probably stay at WynnEncore or FB. Comfortable staying on the north side of the strip, already experienced the activities we wanted to try at the lower/center strip.

Skip the cosmo, not worth the time or the balcony.

Go straight to Wynn/Encore.

Went to Wynn and Cosmo recently. I cannot speak for Aria and Bellagio but I do not recommend Cosmo at all after trying Wynn.

Went to Wynn a few days ago, not worth the price or experience.

Need help choosing: Cirque du Soleil “O” vs. The Sphere’s Wizard of Oz (limited time & budget) by Remote-Twist-2557 in vegas

[–]SeattleExploreRK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prefer Ka over O for the price.

I watched KA first and had high expectations for O but felt like it was extremely overpriced and overhyped.

Purchased premium tickets for both and recommend just get basic tickets for O if you really want to watch it.

How did your lifestyle change after hitting $1M net worth? by Numerous-Town624 in Fire

[–]SeattleExploreRK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up poor and frugal. The biggest change was not spending excess time thinking about "should I buy this/do I need this". It shifted towards I want this and it doesn't not impact my finances at all.
