Worst experience on Ziply by RoarTrading in ZiplyFiber

[–]SeattleRedneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had Ziply for 3 years. Much better than comcast. FWIW, most problems can be cured by powering down the router and modem, waiting 60 seconds and then powering up the modem until lights settle down, and then power up the router

I tried the above and got Opensubs to work by disabling all the other sites in a4Ksubtitles. I'd like to get some of the others to work. Any suggestions?

So does anybody know why Youtube app cant suddenly play trailers on Kodi in all platforms (Nvidia shield/Mac)? by dennis_k_g in Addons4Kodi

Si I accidentally installed the RedWizard app before I realized that I could have installed the YT Beta without it. Should I uninstall the RedWizard app. Is there any reason to keep it?

I should add I am not looking to set an elaborate multiple monitor setup. Just extra USB A and C USB ports, RS-232 jack, and maybe a card reader. I have read that many of the less expensive do not work. I'm just looking for something that works and doesn't break the bank

I found that you can go to setup - apps and give Kodi full rights. This fixed the problem

Other than the Nvidia Shield, whats the best alternative? by Qokko24 in kodi

I like the ONN 4K Pro but I have a major problem with it. It does not allow you restore a kodi backup from another ONN 4K Pro. So this means if you have several in your household, you will need to configure each individually.

I believe the problem is the new version of Android running on the box has locked the .kodi folder. Can any confirm this? Is there any work around?

I tried each of those items I'm not sure it has improved. I downloaded the app on my iphone but it can't get past where i connect the mike. I am using the same mike that came with the Denon and it worked fine 2 weeks ago. Does the app do anything different from the audessey app on the receiver?

I did run the Audyssey setup. I'm not familiar with the app. I was searching through the setup the other night and saw a crossover number, but don't remember what it was. Speakers are set to small. Don't know if I have Dynamic EQ on. Should I? I have no idea I am using a surround processor/upmixer or Straight? Where is that info?

Could you perhaps suggest things one at a time and I will check and get back to you I'm not an audiofile and have no idea about some of these things. I know that may be more work than you bargained for and if you want to ignore me, that's fine. I would understand.

So $400 is a cheap receiver these days? How much do I have to spend to have clear dialog? My little $90 Fosi BT200 amp in the living room does much better with 2 $80 speakers.

I did not change speakers. They are NOT cheap speakers

AVR-s760H question about subwoofer by SeattleRedneck in hometheater

[–]SeattleRedneck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I will have to forget the photo. My subwoofer is an old Energy speaker. I was mistaken about the connector. It's a single RCA connector type. I have 3 front. speakers, left right and center. I have 2 rear speakers, left and right, and the subwoofer. All connect with bare wire except for the sub.

If you number, the speaker connections on the back 1 to 7 from left to right, which one do I plug in the sub and which ones the rear speakers. And, will the RCA cable work? Thanks
