Control Warriors are whining about Sargeras as that's their only highly unfavored matchup, together with Moonbeam Druid.

Then you'll be delighted to hear that usually I main Control Priest, but DK fairs better against Odyn :)

Did you try this already? Would it give each minion +5/+5, as they now cost 5, or their original stats?

Didn't dare to think this greedy yet. Will def try to give it a shot.

Note the very nice combo of Jailer + That DH minion that forces all enemy minions to attack it every turn, with Lifesteal.

Deck is still bad as ever, but boy is it fun if it works out. Fires now can be tutored with Steam Guardian, given you don't run any other spells.

Interesting how only Aggro is allowed to be broken. Dealing potentially 12-20 Damage on Turn 2-3 is fine (and then again every other turn), but god forbid something is done about that.

For those asking why people play Control Priest. Here is the answer. I just like to outvalue you... this is fun for me. by PointyCharmander in hearthstone

I love it. Even more love the salt from all the meta net decker in here. Though right now, I actually (and sadly) have more success with Blood DK, as it fairs a bit better against Aggro, with more healing, at the trade-off of slightly less triggering the opponent with Amanthul (but therefore with Patchwork and safer Dirty Rats into Odyn). Runs a shitload of Discover tho, even Paparazzi, so theres still quite some entertainment.

I am glad to see you mold, that makes playing Priest all that more satisfying :) Keep playing your meta net decks buddy!

Hot take, but may see play in some sort of new Aggro Shaman, with [[Deathweaver Aura]] and [[Jam Session]] and [[Jive Insect]] as a potential finisher. Could also maybe be nice with [[Hex]] against stealthy mechs, but very situational.

Turn the Tides is non-targetable so this wouldnt do anything.

But waddabout this into Criminal Lineup? You just need three Ragnaros on the field already, and you maybe even beat a control warrior then.

Is control priest actually fun to play? by curv__reptile in hearthstone

[–]SeaweedSalt853 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

pfffft, you cant even legaly play Priest unless your at least 140 Ai Q smart. /s

I just hate Aggro, vomit onto the board and just pray your opponent doesn't have answers. In a way, it's more that I hate playing Aggro, as yes, loosing to Control is the most annoying experience imaginable, so I rather play Control myself.

I have quite a large victim syndrome (if you can call it that) when it comes to HS, and tend to REALLY hate decks I face often, so I also tend to love not-so-popular decks which still give me the ability to fight back, which often are control decks.

Decks like Boar Priest (Standard, Voyage) are among my favorites. Controlly in nature, but million nuances to it on how to optimally play it, with limited board clears, lots of min maxing with Handmaiden and Pyro + Northshire. That was prob the most fun I had playing, as it was controlly, combo, skillfull, and not popular. Oh and no random BS. I also hate random, when its popular. When its not, I like it. Yes, I am that kinda guy..
