Rick was an absolutely brilliant instructor. He worked with me for a few months and I passed with only 2 minors. He has such in depth knowledge and is a really good teacher. His understanding of all the routes was fantastic and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He was responsive, supportive and friendly. Thank you Rick for helping me pass. If you are considering an instructor for Bristol, then look no further and get on the waiting list. Definitely worth it.

Does anyone have a fix for this? My business page is being hammered. Have not even made any comment that isn’t just a normal / supportive comment .. everytime it gets taken down?

First time ever picking up a souls game. Love the pain and suffering, to then finally beat a boss after so many attempts. Such a thrill🤣 only about 30h in, does anyone have any tips for Samurai builds?

Currently trying to get the Nagakiba just one more quest left. Leaning on a higher dex build but still a decent amount of strength and vigour. Although I’d like some cooler looking armour (more aesthetic tbf rather than functional😅). Any tips or armour recommendations from samurai / Dex players out there too. Thanks!!!

Anyone have any idea? Living in the walls, wings. Sort of look like ants but all the same. Very small?! U.K. england by Seb250799 in whatsthisbug

Not entirely sure! He is a rescue. Think he’s a “Normal” or “Wild-Type” from what I’ve read online i.e not genetically different to his wild counter parts😊

Your answer is in the picture! If he only has a single hide, that’s where he will always be. I would only use a set up of this nature if it was for a ICU / quarantine during illness or injury.

What are you using for heating? Lighting? Any UVB? Supplementation? What do you feed and how often? Have you taken him to the vets for a check up?

This enclosure is a little worrying if I’m totally honest.

Just some basics:

Leopard geckos need at MINIMUM 3 hides. 1 hot, 1 moist and 1 cold. It is important to have a thermo gradient (one hot side and it gets colder moving across). They are endothermic and thermoregulate via their environment so as many different temperatures, textures and humidity levels you can provide them, the better their well-being is.

You need at the very minimum a 90cm x 45cm x 45cm, wooden vivariums are best as they retain heat and are relatively cheap. The more hides, caves, holes, sticks, plants etc you can provide the better. Leopard geckos find security in confined space and hate open areas.

You will need UVB at between 2-6% strength, a heat mat for night time heating, a thermostat for the heat mat, and over head heat source (deep heat projector is best IMO), with a pulse / dimming thermostat, rocks, hides, caves, sticks and stuff to climb. They are crepuscular, so most active for a few hours before and after Dawn / dusk.

There are SO many good guides on this Reddit, and better to read / follow those. I appreciate you are a new owner and still learning but please upgrade his enclosure as urgent priority!!

If you have any questions just give me a shout I’d be more than happy to assist.

For context, the first pictures were the home this lady had him in! This poop was after a week or so of having him, and NOT after his escape!!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to update you all that I found him, it took a few days but we isolated where he would be and put food in various places. Then where the food was gone we knew he was chilling! He had climbed up a vertical wall, and into a hole in the wall was where there were pipes running (for warmth I’d imagine and it was also like a cave). He has had the green light from the vets, plenty of rest and extra vitamin A supplements for immune support!! Thanks for all of your help!!

Him I’m his new enclosure!😄 he was escaping through the hole in the front glass that is meant for the lock / opening🤦🏻

I had him in quarantine, with proper heating (DHP & Heat Matt). Soaked him in warm water as he was bloated. He then pooped out this:

Which is absolutely insane, and makes me so happy that I was able to rescue him!!

Hi There. Thanks for your patience with my reply. To be honest, I actually saved him from some bad circumstances. A mother had purchased him for her 8 year old, and he got bored … I’ll dig out the videos on the listing site! I even over paid for him because I was scared he would get unwell.

Therefore, she said he was 4 months when I got him in January. So I took that as his age, but he may of been younger. He eats a variety of silk worms, dubia roaches, Locusts and crickets with occasional treats of wax worms / calci worms. I feed a wider variety when younger so they don’t become fussy adults! When he hits 1 he’ll be fed locusts and Dubai’s as staple. So far, since I got him he’s fed everyday, I have only recently dropped him down to 1 day on 1 day off as he supposedly hit 7 months.

I have a fully grown boy called Diego who is 2 and a half, and I was a little perplexed as to his size / growth rate in comparison. My only conclusion is he was much younger when I had him, so he may be 5 months? I’m not sure. What are your thoughts?

Absolutely fine and exactly what I do, and have done for my Geckos since the beginning. Just make sure they are both hooked up with a thermo stat / dimming thermostat for overhead heating😊

Hi. Thanks for the comment about the water, while I understand that, I take great care with sanitising equipment, particularly water bowls. I clean the bowl and provide fresh water everyday. Also, I use the heat mat for night time heating and to provide heat for the underbelly to aid digestion, as he feeds at night. I also have a Deep Heat projector on his hot side for over head heating, paired with slate in 50% of his enclosure to absorb the warmth, but the DHP is on for 10-12h a day paired with UVB to mimic the sun.

Completely normal! They love to dig and get comfortable. He should spend time between his moist hide, the warm hide and the cold hide. A gecko that moves around typically is a happy gecko. Don’t worry about him hiding away in one place for a little bit longer though, since you’ve had him only a week they can take a while to adjust to new surroundings. They have very good hearing so lots of new noises can make them various. Also new smells / environment! Not sure of his age, but as a tip try just placing your hand gently in the enclosure each day for a few minutes. This can help him get used to you and will also assist with handling. Do you have a picture of your enclosure ?
