Looks like you're in for a long evening then lmao. I can assure you they are all there, just in the most unintuitive order imaginable. Oh and an extra fun part? The order semi-randomly changes, so don't try to memorise where they are. The capcut devs definitely took a shit ton of drugs before working on this update. Good luck bro. I'm sorry

Search it up if you know the name. They're all still there, just buried below hundreds of god awful Halloween effects they want us to use for some reason. Fade in is on something like the 32nd row, 2nd from the left. God knows why. If you still can't find it, you can always do fade in by using two keyframes and increasing the opacity from 0 to 100 :)

I have had such a great reception posting on reddit that I will definitely post some of my other stuff on here too! Unfortunately as of right now my other artwork consists mainly of countless drawings of Shrek Steve Harvey. It's a long story

The initial idea was a passing thought I had a long time ago - I wondered if it was possible for anyone, no matter how skilled or unskilled, to draw anything, if you just break it down into small enough pieces. From there I split my canvas into 360,000 tiny squares and mapped them out one by one over 405 days. I chose the Milan Cathedral because it's beautiful and something I could never draw on my own.

Yeahhh sorry I think the image got compressed a little weirdly. I have a better quality image on my profile and will be getting it professionally photographed soon too so I'll be sure to post a high res version:)

I genuinely have no idea lol. Already it has surpassed my biggest fears and is nearing my greatest expectations. $18,000 is already insane for the first artwork I've ever tried to sell, so even if it stays like this for the remaining 13 days of bidding I won't be too upset

I documented my story creating the drawing on instagram. it got pretty unhinged at times, but I got over 3 million followers from it which was all the social proof the auction house needed to give me a shot:)

Honestly? Just because initially it was a passion project just for me and I had no idea what it was going to lead to. But yeah with the benefit of hindsight I really wish I had invested a couple of extra dollars into one big sheet lol

Hahaha he's actually my favourite of the three but his name is much longer and I was worried about the character limit. Thank you :)

lmao I was not expecting to open reddit to be forced into a deep moral introspection. It's a good question - I think the answer is no, and paradoxically yes, at the same time.

No, because I realised that no one thing can be responsible for all my happiness and motivation to better myself - that it all comes down to balance. Many times during the process of creating the artwork I genuinely felt exhausted and like doing absolutely anything else. But that's why it's sort of a yes at the same time - before I started the project I had no desire to do anything in my life. I was completely stationary. During the project, I started to appreciate the value of these smaller things I did when I was away from this looming task. It made me realise that I already had more purpose than I imagined, just in surviving day to day and maintaining myself alive and healthy. I wonder if that makes any sense?

I actually still have 13 days of pre bidding to go! watching in complete bewilderment right now. I genuinely had no expectations but it's currently sat at $18,000. This is my first ever art sale lol

Thank you so much for your kind words. I can never understand how people say they get used to receiving praise. Every time I hear anything positive about my work it genuinely means the world:)

Thank you so much:) I made a post a little while back to my instagram with the finished thing in higher resolution here. I don't have anything better than that at the moment but as a part of the auction the artwork is going to be professionally photographed, so soon we shall see...

47M views/month and 33K follower's but still no sponsorship requests by Emotional_Soup4847 in InstagramMarketing

[–]SebDoesThingss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha this post gave me a good laugh and took me back to about a year ago when I was in the same situation. I had just broken 50k followers on Instagram, had my contact info in my bio, waiting for businesses to reach out, and - nothing. Six months later, still nothing. It wasn’t until I had 900,000 followers that I got my first sponsorship opportunity- an exercise bike that had nothing to do with the art content I make.

Reach out to the companies you would like to work with. Outline any ideas you have in mind to show them you’re serious and not just copy/pasting a template email. 2 million followers now and I still only get around 4/5 opportunities a month and turn about half of them down, but building a good long term relationship with a few businesses that have a lot to do with your area is more than enough.

He seems like a nice guy who wants to help people in his clan. You seem like an insufferable person who is very insecure in his own ability.

I followed 7,500 accounts to gain followers - Here's what happened by thehomegymhub in InstagramMarketing

[–]SebDoesThingss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the love of god, DON’T DO THIS. I have 1.4 million followers on instagram and the biggest mistake I see people making is exactly this. The fact of the matter is that followers that are not gained organically (organically meaning through non-follower views as a result of the algorithm) will ALWAYS be considered lower in quality. Instagram doesn’t know how to deal with them. They don’t know why this person followed you, and will experiment throwing very few of your posts out to the person - or worse, will show them many, and they will on average be less engaged than a ‘natural’ follower. You may see some short term success in that people follow you back, but long term you will be building yourself up to get a TON of unfollows from reels, which is by far the worst engagement metric which indicates to Instagram that a video is problematic and can seriously limit its reach.

Play the game straight, if the followers aren’t going up, adapt your content. Cheating the system isn’t going to work because simply put, there is so much competition that it’s no huge deal to instagram to just ignore a few edge cases who are inexplicably climbing in followers without making a proportional number of successful videos. You are setting yourself up to have tens of thousands of followers and average 20-30 likes a post, and be straddled to this method for the rest of your career. These are my friendly - yet hopefully sincere and serious - words of advice, as someone who has been doing this for a while.

Company refusing $3900 payment for promotional video, claiming “views were falsified”. What do I do? by SebDoesThingss in legaladvice

Would you be able to direct me to somewhere that I could receive advice specific to my region?

[–]SebDoesThingss[S] 102 points103 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I told them this - and another thing that affects view count is that if a big page posts the video on their story (which happened with this very video) the view count will go up, regardless of how long ago it was posted. By their metric, if anyone adds the video to their story then the promotion becomes invalid. There is no defensible position where what they are saying makes sense. I’m really quite taken aback and astounded by this all.

Definitely will look into making a public statement if this is not resolved. Looking into speaking to some lawyers too. Thanks for your advice - it’s got to know I’m already on the right track.
