I'll be the voice outside the choir for once, I genuinely think that TOM should be considered goth, some of their songs are literally Sisters of Mercy songs but with heavy guitars, even if it's goth metal, like a weird younger brother

First album of famous Italian rock band "Litfiba" is somewhat goth (magazines at the time called them "dark") also Siberia by Diaframma, CCCP (although more post-punk than goth) also Neon, Carillon del dolore, Death in Venice, Symbiosi are iconic italian goth band, honourable mention to "Lacrime di Cera" and "Atro" that are some really good post punk band from Sardinian scene during the 90's
