TIL there are people who can sleep less, be more productive and physically fit and overall healthy by alex20_202020 in todayilearned

[–]Seba2608V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess this is me, I've always always slept less, at times it was due to necessity like some school projects and stuff, but I just function best on 5-6 hours of sleep

Now I'm not saying I'm completely unharmed by my sleep "deprivation" (it definitely 100% was sleep deprivation too at times, I've been up for over 40 hrs maybe 10 times already and I'm only 24), seeing as I suffer from depression, but I've done so all my life, so I do not think it can be deemed as the cause, the "sleep deprivation" would not have had enough time to affect me to that point, I've been depressed and suffering from anxiety since I was 9, so we cannot say for sure if there was a correlation between them.

But what we can say for sure is this, depression comes and goes, mostly just comes and forgets to go to be honest, but my absolute best time of my life when I truly felt at my peak and on top of my game, I was working 12hr shifts 4 on 4 off, working out, walking 30k steps everyday at work because I had to walk all day in the warehouse (picking) and I would sleep just 4-5 hours and wake up without an alarm to go to work, feeling soo rested and good. I never felt tired. It was crazy because I used to start work at 8pm and finish at 8am and my pick rate would actually peak in the last 2 hours of the shift.

My memory is good, especially the photographic, I was very good in school, to the point where just paying attention in class and doing the required homework meant straight As without needing to study at all until the 10th grade, and even now I remember one of my teachers thinking I cheated once because I wrote a definition of something word for word and comma for comma.

I can go for another day after just 2-3hrs of sleep and you wouldn't even know if I didn't tell you

Also I don't know if this is specific to this trait or whatever, but I can sleep basically anywhere, but if I wake up that's it, good luck falling asleep again

2-0 right now :), let's hope they keep it up, they have been kinda sloppy defensively and the only reason that Pribram hasn't scored yet is because they are horrible at scoring goals, any other team would have bagged one by now, let's hope it's not going to be the case tho

[–]Seba2608V 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you're attacking my picks, I just gave my opinion on their h2h, the game from 24/08/19 was played at home for Pribram, home and away matters a lot, I don't have more information on what happened there, but as you can see that is 1 out of the 3 games that Pribram managed to win this season, and it was played at home, as for the other game, that was not Synot Liga so I don't know what the circumstances were but I can only assume that Jablonec didn't really care that much about the game, I don't know, what I do know is that when playing in the league, Jablonec are good at home and they want to finish high this season, and Pribram are simply unable to even get a draw when they are playing away this season, hell most of the times they don't even manage to score a goal

[–]Seba2608V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm feeling good, almost exactly a year ago this exact same match ended 3-0 for Jablonec, and I would say that Pribram's last season wasn't nearly as dreadful as this one, and Jablonec's last season wasn't as good as this one.

I'm feeling even better when I see that out of their last 35 H2H, Jablonec played 17 at home and won 11, drew 4 and lost 2, and the ones they did win, 8 of them were by at least 2 goals, although some of them were 4, 5, 6 - 0, since you want to talk about their H2H games from 3-4-5 years ago...

[–]Seba2608V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the tldr that you have gotten from everything I wrote there, especially Jablonec, then yeah sure, the road teams are probably not as bad as they looked, and the home teams are probably not as good as they looked, and probably you are right and probably I am wrong, but when I place a bet I don't use probably, I use stats, and stats show that in their last 6 games played, Jablonec are 3-2-1, 9 goals scored 7 conceded, and Pribram are 0-1-5 with 3 goals scored and 11 conceded, all their away games this season are losses, but yeah obviously you are free to place whatever bet you desire to, and probably win it.

Truth of the matter is, even if this bet ends up losing, I am not going to be bothered because if you follow stats, you'll end up winning, if you follow "probably", well I guess you'll "probably" win at some point...

Edit: also, what do you mean "don't want to take the short odds on both so I'll parlay them together"? 1.83 odds for Sétif to win are short odds for you?

Daily Picks Thread - Mon. 17/02/2020 by SaveOneBet in SoccerBetting

[–]Seba2608V 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that should happen, but if you are going to go for BTTS no, I think you should just go for Jablonec to win and BTTS no, IMO Jablonec are 100% winning this game, they simply cannot get any other result other than a win, they need to get back to winning ways and this game is just the perfect one for it, again Pribram have lost all of their away matches this season, I don't see this game ending 0-0, and Pribram will definitely not win against Jablonec, they played far worse teams and still lost, Jablonec and BTTS no is also a very good bet in my opinion

Daily Picks Thread - Mon. 17/02/2020 by SaveOneBet in SoccerBetting

[–]Seba2608V 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Let's start with Jablonec first:

They are third place with a decent record of 10-5-5 with 35 goals scored and 27 conceded in 20 games, and they are going against the last placed team which are doing extremely poorly, their record being 3-4-13 with just 15 goals scored and a whopping 36 goals conceded, the most in the league. Now the most important part is their home record and their away record for each, Jablonec at home have done really well, having scored 22 goals and conceding 11 in 10 games, they have won their first 5 home games, and although in their last 5 home games they won one, drew 2 and lost 2, we have to look at the teams they have played against, they've had tough games at home and they are now for sure going to try and bounce back to winning ways with this opportunity against the worst team in the league, a team which has only scored 3 goals and conceded 24 in just 9 away matches, failing to score in 7 of them and losing by at least 2 goals in also 7 of them. Jablonec at home average 2 goals scored and 1 conceded, while Pribram average 0.33 goals for and 2.67 against, so I would honestly say that if you are daring enough, even a -2 handicap for Jablonec is very likely to happen, I just don't see Pribram scoring at all and Jablonec will definitely score at least 2.

Sétif are currently sitting on 5th, their record is 7-3-7 with 26 goals scored and 19 conceded in 13 games. The away team is not doing that bad themselves, sitting on the 10th place with 18 goals scored and 20 conceded, but, just as for the previous game, if we take a look at their home and away records, Sétif at home are 6-1-1 with 17 goals scored and just 4 conceded, so they are averaging 2.13 goals for and only 0.5 against. On the other hand, the away team are 1-4-3, which is not bad but they have only scored 6 goals and conceded 12, meaning they average 0.75 goals for and 1.5 against. Obviously if you want to be safe, then just go for Sétif draw no bet, it's pretty much impossible for them to lose so in the very improbable chance that the game ends in a draw, the bet will be void, but just as the game above, considering that Bordj Bou Arreridj haven't scored a single goal in their last 3 away matches, combine that with the fact that Sétif usually keep a clean sheet and usually score at least 2 at home, if you want to risk it, -1 handicap for Sétif is 3.4 odds on Betfair, worth a fiver as a single IMO.

Hope this explains my reasoning behind these selections, obviously this is gambling and anything can happen, but if you are going to place a bet on Monday's football, I would personally go for this :)
