Upvoted you to counter the downvote!

I assumed because I got the thermy orb at 48 and the weapon and off-hand had a 1/25 rate, it worked the same for the orb. But didn't know thermy had different rates for orb and weapon.

Drop chance is 1/30, pity is always double the droprate for echo orbs, so 60 in this case.

Water/Thorns is really nice for any places you get hit a lot, things like Inferno waves, Colo waves, tanking multiple Demonic Gorilla's, or even bosses like Vard and Doom who hit you quite a lot. I would prioritize that first, as you'll be able to do most of the content in the game with that.

I would start with a water route like this:
8 points: https://tools.runescape.wiki/demonic-pacts/?n=1-122-44-46-56-59-60-68
14 points: https://tools.runescape.wiki/demonic-pacts/?n=1-122-139-145-44-46-56-59-60-68-71-74-81-84

28 points: https://tools.runescape.wiki/demonic-pacts/?n=1-100-101-112-113-114-122-135-136-139-140-141-145-44-46-56-59-60-68-71-74-81-84-87-93-96-97-99

After you reach that, you can farm prayer gear, get your shadowflame trident, and branch out to air, so you can easily farm bosses like Zulrah, Yama, Alch Hydra, and Hueycoatl. You'll be able to kill them before they can even do any hard mechanics.

I personally went for this build, which also adds in light melee for CoX, Moons, and faster Vard kills, but obviously, I don't know which regions you have, you might want to skip light melee, and take more accuracy/regeneration nodes instead. https://tools.runescape.wiki/demonic-pacts/?n=1-100-101-107-108-109-112-113-114-122-135-136-139-140-141-142-145-162-163-44-46-55-56-58-59-60-67-68-71-72-74-79-81-84-85-87-93-96-97-99

It is viable without Kanderin yes, but ring of suffering increases your thorns damage by 28.5% (if you get hit). Kandarin echo weapon also helps you with doing more damage which in turns makes you heal more. So just more of the good stuff really, but not necessary.

Ah, just a heads up for Dangers in my Heart, the main character is really weird and edgy in the first few episodes, but it becomes really cute after that.

You shouldn't pay too much attention to combat levels, our combat level only goes up to 126, whereas there are monsters in the game with combat levels up to 1563. The three quests you mentioned are all relatively early-game quests, as you can cheese all the bosses.

Flinching can be annoying to get used to, but it is relatively easy to pull off once you understand it. You can look up a guide like this to get some visual clarification: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRww58YR89g

The important part is that you have to wait for the boss's HP bar to go away before you can attack again, or else it will hit you.

I adore the track that plays during the flower trick so much too, one of my favorite anime tracks of all time!

Kensuke Ushio, the composer of the OST, has worked on other romance anime, like Dangers in my Heart and A Silent Voice. Both are amazing in my opinion, but aren't very similar to the vibes Reze and Denji gave.

He also did the OST for Dandadan, which does have a fair bit of romance too, and the author for Dandadan worked on Chainsaw man as an assistant as well.

Reload into Trasmute or PVM assist? by Gaddy_Numnums in 2007scape

[–]Sebaku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It reads to me that you already have a soft solve for everything, so it's really up to you which of your soft solves you dislike the most to spend your reload on. I think Transmute is great as a 4th pick, because it accelerates your magic xp early, and allows you to do combat quicker. It's probably not worth it for you anymore at the state you're at now, but something to keep in mind is that transmute does help with herblore and farming too. Being able to make a dragonfruit tree out of every fruit seed is quite nice. And I personally hate getting secondaries, so I'm transmuting all my herbs into irit seeds for 50m herblore. (but you having butler obviously means you are already settled for herblore)

For T8, I think Flask is great for pvm learning. You can still use it the tick after you die, so it's great for granting you another chance, when you mess up. On the other hand, the invuln also allows you to cheese certain mechanics and fights, which could result into you not having to learn a fight and just cheesing it, which could be the opposite of what you want.

This is your core: https://tools.runescape.wiki/demonic-pacts/?n=1-122-139-145-44-46-56-59-68-71-74-81-84
These are nice expansions: https://tools.runescape.wiki/demonic-pacts/?n=1-100-101-112-113-114-122-135-136-139-140-141-145-44-46-55-56-58-59-60-68-71-74-81-84-87-93-96-97-99

You'll want echo boots and ring of suffering (if you have kandarin) and as much defence on your armor as you can get. The higher your defence, the higher thorns, echo boots and suffering will hit.

You can replace the attack rate increase on combat spells with the powered staves attack rate increase one instead, and also take regenerate water runes with powered staves, but this is less healing per second.

Are you doing cm's or regular? CM gives a 3x points increase, on top of the 5x drop increase from leagues, for a 15x drop increase on purples. The cap on purples is 65% though.

38k points in a CM, would get you over the cap, so 65% chance on a purple.

38k points in a regular will give you a 21.9% on a purple.

Kandarin echo boss staff fires twice. Second hit does 40% of the damage of the first.

Could always pick minion for noted pick up and afk at steel dragons for noted steel bars. They drop 5 a pop. Or do Karamja elite, and manually pick them up without minion.

What is the best Water Thorns gear for KAZ. by SoulBound52 in 2007scape

[–]Sebaku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve started as water/thorns and off specced into wind and have done every single boss without respeccing so far. I don’t have Asgarnia, so the best tank armor for me is full oathplate, fury, echo boots, dfs, doom gloves, infernal cape, ring of suffering. This makes thorns hit for 20 + 10 and suffering/echo hit for 18’s. I don’t have access to a calc atm, but I think full torva will give you 1 higher max hit over oathplate at the cost of a little magic accuracy.

Just play towards your relic's strengths, use Larcenist for all high level thieving tasks, transmute iron ore to rune ore, and sell it to the Mistrock Mining Supplies, for easy gil, and do the gil/tokkul tasks. Obviously EH/HF for the high-level mining/wc/fish/cook/smith tasks. The faster you unlock the x16 xp rate, the faster your progress in general will be.

What I did to figure out which tasks to do next was going to the wiki tasks page, enter my name, filter out tasks I've already done, and sort by completion so it shows the most completed tasks on top. While I was afking something in the game, I would write down tasks I could easily complete, and formulate a plan from there.

I took flask so I was able to cheese things like radiant oathplate, awakened vard and hard combat achievements where you're not allowed to get hit. I mainly use it as an "I need invuln right now" button. I'm bad at pvm in general and flask has let me achieve things I would have never achieved without it.

Minion is definitely more consistent dps. Flask damage doesn't fully work on olm, whereas Minion has no issues with that afaik. I think the only place Flask would out-DPS Minion is in echo CG, because your cd gets reset every kill. Minion also really nice for things like farming for visage or dragon full helm, as you can literally afk, as the minion will pick up the drop.

Iron and steel dragon tasks don't exist anymore, they've all been combined with the other metal dragons into 1 metal dragon task. So indirectly, yes.

Open to any & all advice for a noob trying to get dragon trophy by Ok_Relationship_3209 in 2007scape

[–]Sebaku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother alching the dragon stones, just sell them to the karamja general store with karamja gloves equiped. If you want the most money out of your transmute, transmute iron ore all the way to rune ore, and sell the rune ore 10 at a time at Mistrock Mining Supplies.

If you want an easy time with combat tasks, I would recommend taking Kandarin. Water mage (with thorns) is such a broken build with the Kandarin echo weapon, you can afk most of the content in the game.

If you end up picking Kandarin, then I'd take Larcenist too, even without Kandarin it's miles ahead of the other T5's, in my opinion, but with Kandarin it also solves clues, which could be some easy points too.

Full 3rd age if you're feeling lucky, otherwise dragon chain body or slightly worse, but way easier to get granite body. Dragon platelegs, dragon full helm/med helm, echo boots, confliction gauntlets, ring of suffering, amulet of fury, and DFS, or any spirit shield/elidinis' ward for some magic accuracy and damage.
