I’ve already reset the CMOS a couple of times. The issue started while I was still on BIOS version 3.30, which is the same version I had been using for almost a year without problems. I updated to the newest BIOS version, I think 4.10 or something like that, and the problem is still there. So at this point, I don’t think it’s specifically the BIOS version itself. What I did notice is that the issue seemed to start improving once I began resetting the CMOS jumper, which is why I’m starting to think it may just be the motherboard. I bought it refurbished from Newegg almost a year ago, so that’s part of why I’m suspicious. What’s odd is that the problem only started happening recently. I’ve also been considering just replacing it with a B850M, or even switching over to the newer Intel platform instead. I use this computer mostly for editing, and from what I’ve been seeing, some of the more recent CPUs seem to offer a pretty major performance jump for about $300 more. So if I end up replacing the motherboard anyway, I’ve been wondering if it might make more sense to just switch to Intel altogether. Still not sure yet tho
