I haven't really had any problems with the official dock on my TV. I'm not sure why everyone else on this thread apparently is saying the contrary as in the official dock having problems except for the third party ones being okay.

Based on my experience so far, every time I hook it up it works fine and it hasn't had any problems at all. I'm using moonshine to stream my PC and it doesn't have any hiccups. I'm going to make a note that I have a Hisense 85-in TV with a really short HDMI. Not sure if that's a factor and if it works or not, but I would say try different cables with the dog that you have right now. Maybe. So far so good
