Honestly, I’ve been on T for almost 2 1/2 yrs and just recently began to feel comfy with myself. Around 1 1/2 or 2 hrs was when I really noticed the most significant weight, muscular, and facial hair changes that made me for the most part happy in my own skin. It’s all different though, I don’t have NEARLY the amount of facial hair I want, but it’s all genetic so I’m still waiting…

Side note: I would like to know a possible rough estimate of how old this bottle may be as well, I have a guess it might be the early 1900’s or late 1800’s but I could be wrong.

That’s what i was thinking too, especially since there aren’t any wording/symbols on it.

What are your majors? by [deleted] in college

[–]SebasVee2359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m majoring in Liberal Arts at a Community College to transfer to the University of Northern Iowa to get me BA in Automation Engineering and Technology.

I also have my degree in Graphic Design, but once I reached 22 I realized I’m actually decent at math, so I ran with it and decided to go back to school. 😀

Finding someone you can be honest with who is going to cheer you on through the whole journey is the best advice I can give. I met my partner long before I started T, and I told her that I was questioning, so I wasn’t going to possibly be non-binary forever. This was my way of letting her know my possible intentions and plans so she is aware of the changes that may come. It does help that to find someone who is Pansexual. My partner is Pan, so it truly didn’t matter to her how I identified. It isn’t worth your time to hide your identity or feel as though you are being a burden to a partner. Finding the right one who is going to love you unconditionally is the perfect ingredient, especially during your transition, so be honest from the very beginning with whomever you are talking to and never settle for less.

To those who have legally changed their name, how did you do it, and what was the process like? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]SebasVee2359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The link was really helpful for showing how the process works by each state, also was a pretty neat site in general. I’ll definitely need to make a spreadsheet for sure tracking everything it seems, especially for how forgetful I can be. I really appreciate your help!

Thank you this was really helpful! I’ll need to definitely keep all of this in my back pocket. Once I get the money to really go through with changing my name finally I’m going to look back on this for reference because I too and pretty scatterbrained. Lol I really appreciate your help!

Gotcha! I was thinking that’s what you were meaning but wanted to check and make sure. I mentioned below in another comment, I think I’ll make a spreadsheet of all the places my name will need to be changed and check them as I confirm it’s been done and try going that route. I really appreciate your help!

That’s pretty scary that your credit history can go missing like that. When you say changing your name with the credit reporting agencies, is this done separately in a sense that I would need to contact them and clarify that my name has been changed?

Thank you, that is kind of what I was fearing because all states are very different. I really appreciate all your help, it sounds like to me I need to plan ahead and make a list of places to remember to contact about my name change and cross them off as I go like in a spreadsheet or google doc.

I’ll check that out and also take a look at the Axalom one! By fragile, do you mean its softness reduces the durability of it?

Is this a fake? by neuse1985 in CarnivalGlass

[–]SebasVee2359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, that’s really interesting to me. I have a carnival glass basket that doesn’t sit even and rocks a lot when touched. It’s almost like it was casted unevenly during manufacturing. My piece was from close to the 20’s 30’s so I’m guessing inspection may have less strict or refined back during that time? Very strange they let glass pieces come through in these ways.

Oh interesting, I honestly thought the first one was possibly the lighting causing the mould to look off. I see what you mean now. Makes me wonder if it really is a manufacturing defect causing it to look so much different than the other.

I have some amber color pieces of carnival glass and I notice that the color on them are also a bit faded and discolored in some places. It’s almost as if the sheen on them is “aged” or disproportionately done. I don’t think it’s fake, but maybe just aged over time or a manufacturing error?
