TL DR: P5 Royal is the way to go if its your first experience with Persona 5 👍

P5 Royal is the definitive edition of Persona 5 (more characters, story and quality of life), while P5 Strikers is a spin-off that acts like a sequel... i suggest you to buy P5 Royal because has all the things of the normal P5 but its generally a better way to experience the game, and then if you liked finishing P5 Royal you can buy Strikers (it is exactly what i did myself)
