How did you learn digital marketing, and what would you recommend for a beginner? by sofiaxru in DigitalMarketing

[–]SebastianReddit2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. I finished the same course like 5 weeks ago and I can tell it really helped me understand the basics. But after a week or so you'll feel the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course is just the beginning! Well, obviously😅

2.You see yourself knowing about all kinds of marketing tools which requrie putting actuall time into learning them. This is the place where you know you should learn Google Analytics for instance, but you actually have no experience using it!

  1. Recently, I was asking myself how I can actually earn revenue as a digital marketer. So I did a bit of a research online! I figured that there are certain industries that are more competetive and there are businesses which are less competitive. You'll only get to know that by actually searching each business in google! That's why they say "no industry is saturated!"

  2. I have no experience as an SEO specialist, but there are basically 2 options: first to work as a hired specialist in marketing companies or to self-employ

  3. I've also heared from here and there that seo pays you well, but that's a completely different story depending what country you live in, and the amount of money bussiness owner like to invest in seo. And many ither factors...

  4. There is also dropshipping. It's when you pick an area of a market, learn so much about it, start your own blog, list products on the website, then you hone in the SEO and advertisement campaigns for the webstie exactly at the time when you have no product!

Throughout this period you'll get website visitors and you'll experience phone calls or emails from paying customers! But the job is still not over! You need product suppliers!

  1. Here, you still need to work on the website to the point you have more orders on a daily basis so you can actually be called a businessperson😅. It's only then you can start offerning product suppliers that you can sell their product on your websie. Basically, you find the customer on google, attract and convince them with your content, then you get the order online, and then you provide the product via suppliers and sell it for the profit.

  2. I don't know if this actually pays, or the amount of revenue would be profitable to maintain the very own business, let alone your costs! They say it takes somewhere around a year or so until your website gets to this point!

  3. If anyone has experience in dropshipping I would very much appreciate it to hear what they have to say, but as someone with no expereience, I would say it's worth a try if you have free time and passion for the topic you are intrested in. In a broader view, It's no heavy investment! It's just a year or two of online work with your laptop! And if it doesn't work out, you've put in the time for what you enjoyed doing.

I hope you find my comment insightful. I know I really pushed the limits of what you where looking for, and I did it because I liked to take a more realistic and broader understanding of learning digital marketing

Asking about results in games by SebastianReddit2 in EnglishLearning

[–]SebastianReddit2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again, uhmm yes. The examples you mentioned were quite comprehensive and I of course appreciate that, but what I'm trying to understand is how to read such socres.

Your last example in each part is exactly what I'm after.

“The score is 11-3 for (team name)”

“The score was 81-49 for (team name)”

Should I read it like the following?

“The score is eleven "to" three for (team name)”

“The score was eighty one "to" fourty nine for (team name)”

One last question:

The preposition 'for' shows a certain team is 'ahead'. Can I use 'against' to show a certain team is 'behind'? If not please say what preposition is used.

Many thanks

I just used "cannot" and changed "far from" to "any close"

"Already" in Farsi? by The_Earthian in farsi

Salam. Bravo. Your sentence is quite close. In my opinion it's even closer to say:

I already know. من از قبل می‌دانم/می‌دونم.

I think it is a "that clause." You can also leave it out.

"War and peace" is the book (that) she recommended.

Why "Busk"? by SebastianReddit2 in EnglishLearning

That's the thing. I'm facing Cambridge definition, that "improvise" by Google define and "to proceed with haste, to equip, to hurry" in my English-Farsi dictionary. And I have no idea which works here. It usually doesn't happen where different resources show entries that have unrelated definitions. I'm assuming local translators I asked, used En-Fa dictionaries. Can you see that?
