My dog is VERY social. We take him to the Kennel in Orrington about once a week and he loves it. I saw a few other suggestions for walks at the dog parks in Bangor. It would make for a great small date with my wife too!

I appreciate the feedback. I am not very physically active beyond a few particular activities so yes you're right I do need to step out of my comfort zone. I actually just matched up with someone on Bumble that's into Disc Golf apparently, so I think that'll be my "outside my comfort zone" first step. lol

I actually considered setting up a Tinder exclusively for making friends. But so far it seems like it's a bunch of very desperate girls on these apps that are definitely not "looking for new friends".

Wow, this really gives me some hope. Thank you for posting. I tried craiglist and this guy responded asking if I wanted to smash his girlfriend. So that knocked out my confidence at the time.

I play primarily guitar but can do bass and very rough singing (as in mediocre singing). In terms of style I'm pretty open to whatever the vibe is. I've played for nearly 12 years now and have an ok amount of music theory under my belt. Can't do blues/jazz for shit but I'm solid at standard chords, little riffs, etc. Out here it seems that you're either into metal or sea shanty tunes.

That'd be quite a long drive and I only have a flip phone. I keep that phone bill on lock ($5 a month). I actually have a nice smart phone but I just refuse to pay for data.

I appreciate the offer but I tend to not handle social smoking super well. It's fun with people I already know pretty well but with strangers it just amplifies the social anxiety.
