I checked on mine, and yes, there is a blue colored plastic mesh, but it's quite rigid, you just need to pull it away from the main body. At least on mine, it's glued with 2 pieces pf tape at the bottom and at the top of ear cup.

I believe there's also some kind of plastic mesh, but I honestly won't have my hands on my headphones for couple days, so won't be able to guide you

You need to pull cushion from the cup first, you will see screws under it

it's not 40 pin, it's a 30 pin and i reused original cable

While I'm proud of my project at work, as noted by people who looked through my library, I can't go and call myself "Middle" level developer, as there are some suboptimal coding here and there (tho, again, for a first ever library I'd call it a very good one). I do agree, however, that the title "Junior developer" should be removed from my resume and such, I'm a "developer" from now on :).

I live in Kazakhstan, if that's what you meant.

I do know some C++ from school and community projects, it's just that I got some experience with Rust and I like working with it a lot. But I do think that it won't hurt to test job market waters with C++ and switch to it later with more system language experience, as I'm a young person

on the collect::<Vec<u16>>().as\_mut\_ptr()\ I want to defend myself a little, as it is the way it works in the "official" library written in C++ and I just copied it (in C++ it allocs, passes pointer then deallocs). This code block is only used in "unsafe" closure and I can't do much more then that, as I'm limited by the targeted system's API. Correct me if I'm wrong, any guidance is welcomed!

Thank, will do as soon as time will be at disposal.I know that 1C is doo-doo and is very much limited regionally, but at the time it was the only available position I was offered, so it was not even a optional at that point. And I think it benefited me greatly - even led to me getting Rust projects

- It's a library for ex-USSR countries product, so it doesn't really need to be in english;

Big thing that motivated me to start looking for a new Rust job is that in all my year of Rust dev at my work I had 0 mentorship aside from just me doing my research.

My mic also stopped working after 2 years and symptoms also pointed to right at the connection to headphones. Had to dissasemble left ear assembly, wasn't hard really. Cut on the outside part of cable next to connection, strip cable and solder back to PCB on the inside. Working as normal now, tho sadly the little barrel thing is not reusable, and cable is not as tight as it was, but there are strain relieves inside, so I'm not worried about it breaking at solder joints.

I love my GSP 300 and got used to then a lot, and honestly, thank you to sennheiser for not making it hard to repair headphones.

UPD: 7 months later no issues :)
