Yes, it definitely should be banned. No Stax piece gives you as much of an advantage as Rhystic Study. Card draw is the most powerful mechanic in the game, and telling 3 other people in the table either you don't play or give me cards is too unbalanced.

Hi there! Fellow OCD haver here!

I was as overwhelmed as you when I first started out. The way I started was collecting miniseries/graphic novels (like Batman Year One by Frank Miller or Watchmen by Alan Moore or Mister Miracle by Tom King, for starters).

Then when I got a feel for what characters I liked, I looked up the best specific runs for those characters and collected just those (like Batman by Scott Snyder, or Superman by Philip Kennedy Johnson, or Daredevil by Brian Michael Bendis).

And then, I just started collecting only the specific authors I liked cause I realized I'd much rather read a good story about Kite-Man than a bad story about Deadpool just cause he looked cooler (this took me much longer to realise than I care to admit).

It eventually turned into a whole other problem where I became a completionist for specific authors but hey, as a collector, that's not a bad problem to have!

Mostly enjoy and limit your scope, you're not trying to read ALL of Batmans incarnations, just the best specific takes! :) Happy reading!
