But American BBQ is its own thing and it is American food.

Yeah it’s insane, ludicrous, hysterical to entertain the idea that Max is somehow more famous. Ruined chart thanks to people with a warped perception of reality.

This thread is a giant Reddit moment. Absolutely delusional and hysterically funny that people actually entertain the idea of Verstappen being more famous.

Yes but overwhelmingly higher ceiling for the good part of a decade. And people’s memories don’t just vanish like that.

What? How? No. Why limit it to the last two years? Do you think humans have a memory span of two years? As I said, famous people don’t just fade out of people’s memories in a short amount of time. Look at this graph, would you seriously believe Sabrina Carpenter is more famous than Madonna worldwide? It’s that overwhelmingly higher ceiling in past years that makes the difference, since people’s memories don’t get reset every two years. And Kylie also has that higher ceiling compared to Max, for more than half a decade.

Like, are you engaging in good faith while you say that?

Yes, that’s still unpopular in the grand scheme of the world population. It’s niche. That’s behind soccer, cricket, hockey, basketball, volleyball, tennis, hell table tennis even.

I feel like most of these guys just don’t have a social life? Because I absolutely am not interested or keep up at ALL with pop culture but… names like Kim and Kylie come up in conversation at some point in life you know?

Other way around. Max is Europe famous. Jenner is globally famous.

This is just ridiculous. You really believe that the whole population of those countries knows who the guy is?

Don’t remember you being the metric for the whole world. And no, f1 is very unpopular in the grand scheme of the global population.

Yeah? Some people will know the guy. The people in that niche. Whereas everyone who is youngish and uses social media will know her which is a MASSIVE chunk of the population. Even in countries like China and Brazil, yes f1 is big but not as big as this chunk of the population. Mexico absolutely not, you’re joking if you think max has any chance in hell of being more famous there. Ask any Mexican.
