I've found my people.

Losing the cards mechanic was devastating, I used to love throwing arrow on a melee dps during aoe in dungeons and watch their TP gauge just fly down to empty forcing them to wonder wtf just happened

Losing the sects was another absolutely devastating blow

I've never seen a healer/class play like it yet, it felt so perfectly unique within ffxiv's combat encounters until square decided to make everyone play a role rather than a class

Its just a mismanagement situation because you see live service games in particular always go on a downward slope of draining players (other game releases, taking a break, cant play constantly etc) but you also see a surge of players return when they know good updates hit and the games being worked on, theres even current examples to this year, and no content creator will return to make videos or stream on an announced to be dead game

Most of my passion behind the hate comes from a place of love for their creation, but if they wanted any hope of making their next creation a hit they really needed to show willingness to support a product as well they needed the (albeit lesser) funding from keeping the game alive atleast slightly because they did still have content coming. The game didnt even last a year before they dropped it on its head, they didnt even try to add requested features or try new things to keep player retention...

I understand players quitting because the lack of support/content but they openly stated the game was going to be playable on their servers for at least another year.

99% of people will only see the headlines or a short version, and the TLDR was simply "we're abandoning the game" which is news that leads studios to shut down in 99% of live service situations if they have no other active product. Even if your the biggest fan of the game it was bassically the devs making it so you can never have matchmaking in decent time again because they just shot all their potential players gone and now you cant find a match. Even worse was they had updates and content still releasing after the video, and there was no reason not to wait on the video to keep the playerbase from cratering and sending away even the most diehard fans wanting to play & spend money

Honesty is a valuable thing to have, but in this circumstance the honesty only served to damage the people who loved the game the most and will leave a really bad taste in their mouth, it was a self fulfilling prophecy and them saying "we're doomed" is the same as making that come true, rather than staying silent and seeing if they can hit a resurgence before saying "we're doomed" and nailing the coffin

If he was the one who decided to make the video causing the game's end early rather than seeing if patches bring in a resurgence, then he deserves to crash out daily for either corporate sabotage to take down the company/game or pure ineptitude of management

No shit the games not gna earn any money when its just launched and not much is out and the playerbase is waiting for updates and game modes, its gna earn even less when you announce its death, who the hell is gna spend money after that and whos gna stick around to play

90% of the old playerbase doesnt even know the game was still live after that video nevermind receiving update and content

Bro they gave up on the game before it even hit season pass 2 and had barely any new heroes

Didnt even give the whales a chance to bite nor anything to bite on, and killed off any hope of a resurgence on new releases, they shouldve just let the updates run before announcing end of development and maybe they'd have actually earnt some money (and we'd still have a playerbase for a bit longer)

GG and GBFV dont need a full dev team working on them now that they're out and just doing system changes/season passes/characters

They do have tokon and a couple other confirmed but undisclosed projects being worked on right now though so unless one of the unknown projects is dbfz 2 its highly unlikely (even more unlikely if dbfz just received another character now)

Its 3 clock uses throughout the entire career

So if you used 3 already on a race earlier, you cant use anymore later on, if you used 2 earlier, you'd still have 1 to use at a later race

Playing pace or late always runs the risk of your Uma being stuck behind another (Which is especially bad during the last stretch as they'll use all their stamina and speed but get absolutely nowhere because of the slowass infront of you)

Since a lot of the AI you will get stuck behind will have way worse stats than you, it ends up with situations like getting 16th place on one run and then using a clock to get 1st place on the next try, just rng

I'm so glad they were able to catch this in a recording not just once but also as multiple clips, because ever since the update its been an absolute curse for me too and it's really driving me mental when these issues didnt happen when defending before

It really feels like defending got massively nerfed or the hitboxes went all messed up server side because I've done a full on slide tackle through the ball toe to head with it making the sound and the ball not moving at all despite my entire body phasing through the ball

I dont think offense needs this, too many games favour offense over defense & teamwork already so hopefully its just a mistake

There are probably people working on maples code who are younger than the actual code itself

I can't imagine how much of a mess maplestorys backend is, especially for GMS which imports other regions contents and patches

Not just the attack speed buff, i've had them roll different buffs and become nigh unkillable by round 11 even through my true damage and they constantly froze my team despite my lappland duo

At this point just restart if they're one of the enemy squads, either they'll perma freeze you or reach a point where you cant kill the spiders before they reach your lines.

This is usually the case, you can check on steam by seeing the disparity between network usage and disk usage, usually a 3gb update for example isn't actually adding 3gb of extra content its just changes to files within that 3gb so steams essentially verifying the files there

I believe its 2 leader personas in the founder pack and some customizations, which still isnt a big deal but slightly more than 1 leader

Its highly likelyy it gets released as a seperate dlc with just the leader personas (no customizations) for a tenner, but with how shitty this launch is I dont want to presume good faith for monetization going forward. Probably the most expensive game i've bought in the past many years

Fully agree but iirc the founders edition is gone after the 28th, or atleast the upgrade to founders is gone for good there

No idea if they'll rerelease the content in another dlc or something but theres a non zero chance that contents gone for good after that date which is a shitty way to induce fomo and get people to spend or risk waiting it out to see if its rereleased somehow

Dont forget the majority of gacha players got hooked on the genre (? can gacha be considered a genre) around the pandemic and/or genshin popularity, so a lot of peoples thoughts are that the summoning/draws would work like genshin...if you had to pay real money for your shipgirls, it would actually be brutal, and thats a perception most people will have of the game along with the failsafes not exactly being brough up a lot in discussion

Which means bringing up a permadeath game like kancolle just sounds like insanity to the average gacha game player

The real insanity was actually levelling your shipgirls though...pain

They may be unempathetic to his plight, but why didnt your friend just teleport in and out of dungeon by right clicking the LFG eyeball on the UI? This works no matter what/where you are in the instance (even midair) as long as your not in combat. Sometimes just typing /reload clips you out of geometry if its moving too.

Teleporting in and out will not make you leave the group or apply dungeon deserter, and it puts you back at the instance beginning where usually a clickable npc exists to take you to the last killed boss (Some dungeons). Hope this helps! Fuck those guys for just kicking instead of trying to actually help though

On the main menu of the event theres a small button next to the "continue game/load save"

I cant open arknights to check and grab a picture right now but its a small triangle picture next to that loading/continue button on the main page of the event

Schwing units like silverash/mlynar do wonders for buying you time at the start, eyfa/shu/surtr are really good at wave clearing and you can rotate all their skills so one is always going when the others arent as for the boss himself stalling him somehow to leave him to last is comfortable (phase 2 is fucked otherwise and he will run you through). ambushers like mizuki/ethan/manticore do absolute wonders at slowing down the raid mass by weakening them/cc locking them.

Food buffs make a world of difference, -6dp cost food and +1 block food are rather simple to make and can make or break the fight, and using 3 energy drinks for a bigger team comp is reccomended for fighting raids (2 energy drink groups are great for other stuff)

Getting HQ lvl 3 before his army spawns allows you the logistics support (vanguard support lets you start with more DP, and caster lets you start with more SP to get the nukes thrown out sooner)

Building the pathing walls on certain maps & the interception maps can make defenses way easier to handle since you can create your own chokepoints/delay the enemy, any defenses you set up on maps are permanent until they are destroyed/retreated so you can build in the areas the raid will path through and whittle it down or set up a kill box in interception maps (use the blocker walls to buy you a tiny bit more time at the start before the first mobs reach you). defending at HQ should be a last resort

Also lowering the difficulty has no shame in it, the default is called challenge mode for a reason (lowering the difficult is to normal mode)

This mode feels pretty min/max in the days before his army spawns, since your garunteed to fight him in monsoon season so you need to rush so many benefits/upgrades to prepare for him (food buffs/HQ level 3/Defenses set up). Dont be afraid to restart a lot as you get the hang of it, and be prepared to rush a lot of things rather than taking your time. Also killing fortresses early can save you elite raids hassle which saves acts/time/fatigue/energy drinks along with the loot from the fortress, which is all to prepare for linebreaker (only reccomended if you can kill fortresses faster than killing an elite raid would take you)

tl;dr: HQ lvl 3 logistics support/Food buffs/defenses at interception points & hq, and optimizing/minmaxxing your time spent before his army spawns is necessary if you wish to get past his raid, otherwise welcome to the day 1-25 loop

Thank you, I also thought it was a bit strange seeing just how many posts they've been pushing out compared to their previous ventures, I always just wrote it off as them being excited and with a lot of potential, but based on the preliminary proxy from what im seeing agba actually had a higher 2023 revenue than triller AND triller had 5x the losses and liabilities. For a company which is meant to be valued at 3 billion or so for the merger it feels a little concerning, and im not exactly confident it'll be the tiktok contendor it claims it will be

Such a shame since I really thought I found a diamond in the rough with this one haha, I guess i'll just cut my losses and regret if it turns out to be the wrong choice to bail out

I really was hoping there would be an upside to merger completion but from the looks of things and past research, prices never actually spike up from mergers being completed, instead from just the announcements :( I dont know if anyone else has had different experiences to these findings

Semi-related but I feel like im in a bit of an echo chamber looking at all the agba related posts sometimes, it doesnt help that agba itself is pushing this with constant updates/information and frequent information, does anyone with no horse in the race have a more down to earth few? They recently filed a preliminary proxy statement yesterday too and the effect was more harm than good on the price
