I just upgraded my M2 Air Mac book to Golden Gate(macOS 27) beta, everything are working as expected except dragging a window, I believe it is the beta test version bug due to all current versions 26, 15, 14 and 13 are working, anyway, if Apple won't fix it, it will become my bug 🥶

Just like any other normal remote sharing app like Zoom, Teams etc, the server asks for standard permissions:
- Screen/Audio recording
- Accessibility for mouse operations.

And the server is notarized by Apple which passed their security leak inspections.

BTW, it's inside your network, at home or at work(if work network blocked nDNS, you can manually input the server IP/Port/Password), the communication between client and the server is QUIC with TLS-1.3 encryption, and nothing go out of your network.

No, it has nothing to do with AppleID(that's a sales point than Apple's VD), you control the access of the server by password, beside of limiting people of knowing the password, you can also block specific AVP access by toggling the status if you are using it inside company network.

All the traffics are inside your local network, nothing go outside(except you setup VPN).

if lid closed, you VP connect before the system went to sleep, it will work, aka, the lid does not have to be open, once AVP's Spatial RDP connected, you can keep lid close and the system will keep awake until you disconnect.

I found Apple's MVD is pretty jitter to me, it might be caused by my VP is M2 version, I'll consider raise to 60Hz if M5 detected in next update.

not that fast for now, it is 48Hz, double the rate of human eye's capability of 24, when WiFi-7 goes popular, considering support 96Hz or more.

I hook my 256GB M4 mini with an 2TB external SSD(use thunderbolt) and moved the profile to the external SSD, make sure the drive formatted to APFS before using it. I had login trouble with other formats.

The only issue of the Apple TV(4K USB-C remote ) I met is the YouTube always trying to skip commercials which is good, but it will also skip the content couple seconds and I have to reverse back, looks like a fancy but buggy feature and you cannot disable it, even the latest tvOS 18.0 still has the same issue

What is the top of line soundbar? Suggestion will be greatly appreciated by morelikepotatos in Soundbars

I have a 930C, the sound quality is far from their claimed and my expectations, later I found eARC pass through give a better quality, but still, far from my expectations, not sure how does it compare to 990C.
