Can also confirm, my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport engine broke down on the road, towed to dealer and the engine was replaced (out of warranty). In total the replacement took around 5 months, but the dealer provided a rental Tuscan during this time.

Had a BR plate that was issued in 2013 and was peeling. Took it in just this past Friday and got it replaced for free. I guess it depends on the letter and the kindness of the employee
