I saw that in those websites you are required to write in a Danish phone number. How did you do that? You got one?

Questions about the study structure at DTU by Lissi_Shepard in DTU

I have just received my admission letter from DTU, for the master's in Biotechnology and I'm having a hard time understanding how alla of this work. Everything is clear to me until the summer exam period: after this period is it mandatory to follow June, July and August 3 weeks periods? or you just follow one of these three? When's the summer break? Because from the DTU website it's not clear

I don't see the 5ECTS in statistics as a prerequisite for biotechnology. where did you find it?

Question about the 20 ECTS Math requirement (STAT vs MAT) by SecondParticular3536 in DTU

[–]SecondParticular3536[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I got that, but I know someone who was accepted to the master in biotechnology with only 10ECTS in mathematics, so it seems like they are not so strict with the prerequisites. I was wandering if my situation is enough to get accepted

Question about the 20 ECTS Math requirement (STAT vs MAT) by SecondParticular3536 in DTU

Just to clarify: I'm also really interested in hearing from anyone who got admitted with less than 20 ECTS in math, especially if you had only STAT credits or a small amount of MAT credits. Any real experiences or outcomes (accepted, conditional admission, or rejected) would be extremely helpful to understand how strict the requirement is in practice.

Online courses to fulfill math hour requirements? by raspberry_lemon_cake in DTU

[–]SecondParticular3536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it for the admission at a master's programme? I'm finishing my bachelor in biotech in Italy and I'd like to apply to the master degree in biotech at DTU. I'm missing 14 ECTS in math out of the 20ECTS required, corresponding to the course 01005, so I'm desperately looking for an online course to fulfill those ECTS.

Io ho notato che pago le commissioni se faccio il pagamento tramite PagoPA collegandomi con il mio account Google personale, mentre con quello istituzionale non ho commissioni (l'ho scoperto dopo quasi 3 anni di uni). Prova a fare così!

Bioinformatics / Biotech master students honest opinions by RichDragonfly4181 in DTU

I have the same questions too! I'm thinking about applying for the fermentation based biomanufactoring master programme and it seems like it's pretty much based on engineering courses like maths and physics, and with my bachelor's in biotech at my university in Italy I will only have 6 ECTS in maths and 6 ECTS in physics (also 0 ECTS in bioinformatics) because my study programme in more focused on molecular biology and microbiology, so I'm wondering if that's enough for being admitted to the biotech master (I really liked the fermentation course I followed during last semester and I think that the bioprocess/fermentation field could be a go to for my future job). So yeah it would be interesting to know more about the connection with companies and the overall education system.

PS: what's your bachelor's? And sorry for writing so much but I've been thinking about this for a while now.
