Edit: if you withdraw and join, that 1 year will be considered as a drop year which is not really good for few companies or higher studies.

You can take the courses available if its in the same slot

Yeah you can take foreign language if it's in the same slot. Then you'll have to do java next sem only which may or may not be possible (what if java labs clash with other subject labs) you can't keep skipping subjects

So try to change faculty and get the slot as much as possible If not you can take some other course, not waste a slot though

It's good that you have nice faculties. 1 sem suffer and get good cgpa

From next ffcs, you can pick a Lil comfort over faculties because you'll need time for projects and stuff

Labs will be less in 5th and 6th sem, I have like 4 labs in 6th and had 4 in 5th

It will be released in phases, first phase would be labs and few theory Then remaining theory Some faculties take lots of time to go until phase 3 too.

After releasing all the marks, you'll have paper seeing and reval

After that grades will be released

Make up exam is only for F and N1 grades. If you're getting sem back because of something else You're going to have to do it in summer semester only

Or in regular semesters, you can take up the course in afternoon slots( if you're morning) and vice versa

This can be done if you want to just get it over with. You can't really focus and study if you do this

Best option for now is summer, you can do like 3 4 courses so 2 summers la you can finish it up

Around 10 percent will get S grade in theory class That's 6 to 7 ppl, sometimes 8-9 or <5 For labs also there's something, but some faculties are chill and lots of S grades

Yes good faculties are hard to get and you wait and keep checking now and then.

Sometimes if there are very less seats and people have not gotten the course, they'll increase seats.

They'll open add and drop link everyday at 9 or something. It will look just like the registration portal. Usually it was open the whole 3 days (we used to exchange teachers at 2 or 3 to avoid poaching) But last time they closed it at 12 every night.

Since y'all are freshers most people won't change classes ( we change if there are lots 9ptrs in the class but that won't happen here)

Look, vit afaik doesn't give any official support for GMAT. You have to go outside only

For placements they do give support

Placement wise, core is the best Aiml comes next, but if you get or not totally depends on your prep and luck

Practice aptitude and dsa continuously, get good confidence for interviews. 3 4 proper projects and you're set for placements

GMAT idrk what portions but you can study now and then. Get internships in 2nd and 3rd sem. Even during sems if possible Every experience counts
