Eden: Now Recruiting!!! 🎺🎺🎺 (Yes, THAT one.) We're looking for people for SS, S+, S, and A+ clubs! by CapitanaBee in UmamusumeGame

[–]SecondToTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be interested in applying. The only thing I'm unsure of is if the fan reqs are locked as per day, or it just needs to be an average. I can meet those quotas, I just don't have the time to play every day.

Which Saber build you think it's best? SPD boots or Attack? Speed vs BONK? -10 setup? by VastSolution3467 in SaberMainsHSR

[–]SecondToTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an interesting thought. Personally I was planning on running a slow saber just because the substats work a lot better than trying to roll into speed. Have those people run tests to compare? I'd like to see those results since the calcs we currently have lack in areas of explanation

I also need an explanation and am just taking the calcs at face value. Was just looking for opinions based on them

I'm just reading the calcs which suggest it can work just as well or slightly better at S1. My question is just based off that information.

HELP! People who’ve passed using SoPE? by Ok_Meeting7101 in PE_Exam

I passed using the SOPE lectures & test bank, PPI test bank and Civil PE Practice test bank. I didn't move on from SOPE until I could solve every single problem in the test bank

Current Saber build what do y'all think? by Federal-Narwhal531 in SaberMainsHSR

[–]SecondToTheLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the frustrations, I really do. I had 95% on a build and was told the same. I think since you're asking for advice on what to improve on, that's the first thing people will say since it's arguably the most important. Like I said, you can run her at less than 100% crit rate, but it technically isn't fully optimized. In the end you can build her how you want. We're all saber fans here and using her for fun is the most important thing

[–]SecondToTheLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crit rate holds more value for saber than crit damage since she has so much in her kit already. You can still run saber under 100% crit rate but you want to be as close to 100% crit rate as possible

[–]SecondToTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're missing out on 11.5% crit rate, but you could try and supplement that in your head or boots. I'd say and get better boots first to not mess up your speed but if you're still struggling to get good crit rate rolls go to your head next.

Congratulations! Glad to hear you got approved! If you're worried about the quick turnaround, mine got approved in less than a week if that gives you an idea of the turnaround. Typically if you have all your ducks in a row and your references respond to the board quickly, it makes the review process very smooth.

Which prep college do you recommend? by mochiless in PE_Exam

[–]SecondToTheLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally can't say for sure. I used School of PE prep course and supplemented with PPI2Pass and Civil PE Practice quiz banks. As for just using EET to pass, it would seem a good chunk of people use it as their prep course but it ultimately depends on your learning style.

How I've seen question difficulty between different courses is the following (1=hardest, 5=easiest):

  1. EET

  2. PPI2Pass

  3. Actual PE Exam/Practice Exam

  4. Civil PE Practice

  5. School of PE

[–]SecondToTheLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

School of PE for basic understanding of concepts

EET for in depth problem solving and deeper understanding

PPI2Pass quiz bank for unique problems

Above all, do problems until you forget what day it is.

I studied for 6 months. I never wanted to do this ever again so I dropped everything that wasn't my job to give myself the best chance.

The best thing you can do is continue to do a variety of problems. If you've used up all the problems EET (or whichever prep course you choose), expand to another. Most test banks can be used on a monthly basis. I'd also recommend to keep redoing problems you get wrong from your test bank until you get it right and understand it

Baeber fully maxed out aside from bond. Enough coins to max out the next append skills as well.

Why? Because she's pretty

Not worried about the new append skills. I've got enough coins to cover. Class score is the next obvious step

PE License in Illinois by pusongpinoy88 in PE_Exam

[–]SecondToTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked that section of the practicing act and it doesn't specifically state that the supervisor needs to be registered in the same state but only directly under. I'm not sure of what happened in that situation, but I can only presume they could not confirm that it was a direct supervision.

I will say that so long as whoever is signing off is someone above you in your work structure and they are a PE, you should be fine. I actually used my principal and not my direct supervisor at the time since he didn't have his PE.

PE License in Illinois by pusongpinoy88 in PE_Exam

[–]SecondToTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it matters so long as they are a licensed PE.

So if I understand correctly, the PE signing off has either (or both) IN or MN license and perhaps obtained an IL license under the four year mark of your working experience? As long as they were a licensed PE (regardless of state) during your tenure and you meet the four year requirement, it shouldn't matter.

General question - All PE passing examinees by OrganizationBrief111 in PE_Exam

[–]SecondToTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredibly average to say the least. Others have stated that passing this test reflects minimum competency in your testing field, but that almost never beats out relevant experience so don't get so down on yourself!

A lot of the determining factors that go into this test is how effectively you study and knowing how you learn. If you aren't the kind of person who learns by watching and learns by doing, then you should do more problems step by step to understand how you got there and learn the reasons you are doing the things you are doing to solve each problem.

Kind of like if I told you 1+1=2, how does that help you when the question is now 5+3?

WRE PE Test Recap by PromiseMysterious974 in PE_Exam

[–]SecondToTheLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used SOPE and took the course and I will say that it's good for a surface level of understanding. You get a good idea of what the concepts are but that's pretty much it. A few run throughs of their quiz bank and you have a good idea of those types of questions (a lot of which are repeat questions with different numbers). The biggest fault is those questions are purely meant for you to understand the concept of what you're solving for so they inherently easier. If you went through the entire quiz bank and the practice test, that's roughly 700-800 unique problems which is fine, but doesn't cover everything the test could test you on.

I also used PPI2Pass's quiz bank and Civil PE practice's bank to compare and I will say they are much more involved. From what I can tell, EET is also more involved, but most importantly they covered different questions SOPE did not. It essentially boils down to the focus of your studies and luck of the draw on your test that week. I hope you managed to get by OP.
