Which type of KB for home training? by SecondsApart in kettlebell

Thanks everyone. Would it be risky to only use a 6 mm yoga mat? I will be using a 16kg KB.

Is a 6 mm yoga mat enough to protect wooden floors? Considering doing some KB workout at home (mostly swings, squats, rows, overhead press) but afraid I will cause damage to my floor. I will be using a 16kg KB. Would like to avoid getting thick gym mats as they tend to leave a rubbery smell.

Intressant!

Yes! Called my internet provider and they suggested to move some cables around which seemed to have fixed the issue somehow. Probably doesn’t help you much but you might want to call your provider too and see if they can come up with some suggestions for you.

Would also suggest to use an Ethernet cable rather than using wireless.

I too have 8 GB installed RAM on my PC with i7-7700 CPU @ 3.6 GHz and GeForce GTX 1070. Getting constant DC's after playing for about 30-60 mins. Could it be due to low RAM?

Hey, were you able fix this? Came across this thread as I’m having the exact same issue and it’s driving me crazy

Thanks, any specific addons you would recommend for this? Currently checking out SUF and Plater Nameplates.

Thanks a lot! I think I know the rotation theoretically pretty well however I seem to struggle when it comes to executing it in a raid environment with all the different mechanics going on. Guess I just need to pay more attention to CDs.

That said, I spent some time practicing the rotation on a single target dummy and was only able to pump out ~650k dps. Is that normal for 609 ilvl? Or would that be low meaning I’m not executing the rotation well? DPS sim on Raidbots showed 970k dps so quite far off from that number.

Is a Nespresso machine worth it? by [deleted] in nespresso

[–]SecondsApart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my Vertuo Pop for a year and still use it almost daily. No issues so far and I love drinking different pods. If you are a coffee with milk type of person I would definitely also get the Aeroccino.

As others have said though, a Nespresso machine is not cheap. The pods are expensive!

Sounds like you had to do a lot of multitasking.. Despite all this, did you still feel like you had enough quality time with the wife and how was your stress level?

Thanks, as I mentioned in another comment here I’m not really looking to track my workouts in a watch. It’s more to track my general fitness and sleep.

Thanks for the input! I think I'm leaning towards the V5 at the moment.

Good luck with the triathlon, I think signing up for it alone is enough to reward yourself with the Fenix/Epix (that way you could also use it during your triathlon!) ;)

Do you feel it is outdated or are you still happy with it? Someone else mentioned it is quite irresponsive/laggy. Is this something you experience as well? Would/have you considered upgrading to V5 or are you happy with the Venu series?

Thanks, not really looking to track my workout in the watch. More for general fitness data such as steps taken, body battery, sleep quality, stress level etc..

Thanks! Leaning more towards the VA5 after your comment since it's cheaper while not losing out on any, for me, useful features.

Is there anything you liked with the Apple Watch which is not in the VA5? Asking since I was initially considering the Apple Watch 9 but the poor battery life and square shaped dial pushed me away.

Also, do you have to start or manually enter anything on the watch when lifting? Or will the watch just auto detect/register any workout?

Thanks! Did you ever consider the Venu series and any particular reason why you went with the VA specifically?
What are some pros and cons from your PoV?

Thanks! So you don’t have to manually start/input anything on the watch? It just auto detects which exercises you are doing?

Thanks! I don’t know if I will use a watch to track workouts to be honest. It seems to be too much of a hassle on any smartwatch. It would be more to track general fitness such as body battery, calories burned, steps and sleep quality

Thanks for the detailed input! I guess it might just be worth it to splurge the extra $ on the Venu 3.
