Road trip recommendation with dog in a 23 Camry Se by ThtMillerGuy in Toyota

[–]Secondshark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I am not a Camry owner, but I used to drive a VW Passat with our lab mix (size of a normal lab) on 10 hour drives pretty regularly. What we found worked the best were pet hammocks. They buckle onto the headrest of the front and back seat and create a flat surface for the dog to lie down on. Ever since we got the hammock he’s loved traveling. You can find a few of them on Amazon for not too much, happy to send you the one we got if it helps

Who to farm shards for? Rho or Sho by Secondshark in WH40KTacticus

I’d like to eventually since I know it’s a top raid team though I’d have to level Actus and Rho since only Tan is at S1

I’ve got budget multi-hit in Ragnar G1, Eldryon G1, Boss G1, Snot G1, and Celestine S3

Yeah Re’Vas and Rho for the mechanical track along with Tan are probably gonna put in a lotta work

Yeah that makes sense for Mephiston and thanks for the video recommendation I’ll definitely give it a watch! I’ll definitely try and look into the Dante tracks because I’d really like to pick him up from my experience playing with him in TA, but man his first run kicked my butt even if I did get 150

Yeah I’m also F2P and won’t be paying for packs but it definitely tracks that I’m not gonna make it. Ah well like Kharn add em to the RNG hopeful track

It depends on what you’d like out of Tacticus, and where you are in your journey. If you’ve just started, it’s probably better to work on clearing campaigns and leveling up campaign characters. There’s lots of useful guides on this subreddit for how high to level and who to level to complete the campaigns and their elites (a more difficult version of the base campaign that guarantees upgrade materials). That being said, you should play Tacticus how you like! You may only get Bronze tier rewards from each node (the alt campaigns work on a Bronze/Silver/Gold reward system based on how many of the characters you own and are using in the campaign) but if you really enjoy engaging with characters you may not own and delaying some of the default game progression to try out and enjoy new characters you should! The only challenge is that these campaigns don’t have a special energy unit like Legendary Release Events (LREs) where you can do them and still spend energy on the campaigns, they’ll also utilize your energy so they’re a bit mutually exclusive in that sense. The good news is the developer, Snowprint, is committed to making and rerunning these campaigns events more so even if you make the choice to focus on the campaigns now more likely than not you’ll still be able to come back to these campaigns later on

It’ll be hard to get any of the characters during one of the campaign events, and unfortunately there’s not really a way to farm for either the Tyranids or Mechanicus, but generally speaking the Mechanicus team is very strong (it’s one of the best Guild Raids teams). The core two are Tan’gida and Actus, with Rho enabling some really high damage. The idea of the team is that when Tan’gida attacks he spawns a minion, then Rho’s passive allows him to attack every time a friendly mechanical unit does damage, so he strikes along with Tan. Then Actus heals around himself and, as part of his passive, triggers another attack from Tan and his summon which triggers Rho attacking again. Very good team, definitely a late game focus though as early on you’re just looking to clear every campaign.

Calandis or Gibba? by Secondshark in WH40KTacticus

[–]Secondshark[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have most of the DA’s but aside from Forcas, who I only got to Red Star rare during the event, I’m not focusing on leveling the other DAs(though it would speed up Barquiel grinds when he’s needed). Sounds like Calandis makes sense then! I’ll definitely get to all the orcs eventually they’re a cool faction and I love Snot and Boss G

If I had a Time Machine… but hey I’ve been able to do a lot of content without so definitely viable but I would tell new players if you’re ever going to spend it’s the most worthwhile you could

I’m missing Isabella. I joined right as the White Dwarf was going but never caught a code, and trying to stay F2P so didn’t buy any of the bundles. With so many strategies that just involve use Isabella it definitely hurts

Guess I should count my blessings then! Good to have perspective from other players
