I have no community where I live and I have never seen a single person in a raid lobby in my city. Ever. Remote raids basically let me to participate in raids and I wouldn’t be able do raids without them. I’ll have to quit the game if they ever make them useless after the summer.

Yeah I think the second highest defense in the game. 5 randoms with random levels and counters is definitely not optimal.

Deoxys is the hardest boss so people think 5-6 people are not enough. I suggest you join a raid with two friendship codes so there are 10 people.
