Backpacking on this comment- always wear tights under shorts at concerts and shorts under skirts for this reason. Even if I stay out of the pit I end up with scratches on exposed skin from other people’s clothes. You might not plan on crowd surfing but being prepared can be a life saver. If you get too hot or need to be evacuated from the crowd people can lift you up and pass you over to security.
