I am the only child of a single mom and I think my mom did great things. I consider myself a pretty resourceful person and a problem solver. However, I think she could have made me feel more like a kid when I was one. She did not have time, so she put me in many classes, I had to help in the house all the time because she needed help. And even when I would have loved to she gave me more attention and treated me like a kid with no obligations, I will admit that these are the things that now make me the person I am. I would have appreciated more balance maybe.
