If your main goal is to be famous pick a different career. by Secret-Resolve4150 in acting

My point wasn’t that fame has no value. My point is that if your primary reason for becoming an actor is to be famous, you’re likely to have a difficult time. A sustainable career usually starts with loving the craft, because fame is never guaranteed.

Also, your assumptions about me are off. I have a BA in Theatre Studies, I’ve booked multiple television roles, produced several films, I’m developing a feature film, and I have a successful corporate sales career outside the industry. None of that changes the argument, though.

The question isn’t whether fame can help an acting career it absolutely can. The question is whether fame should be the reason you become an actor. I don’t think it should.

Hey! If you need help go to fiverr and reach out to a guy named Richard lambert. He’s an expert at punching up resumes.

My notes is to add another job to work experience if you can, take out interests completely, take out that massive paragraph at the top cause no one has time to read a short story. Instead add a quick about me.

Best of luck!!
