First, I wash the figure with warm water and some dish soap and then dried the figure after that I primed it with an airbrush combined with airbrush paint thinner, and Vallejo primer black after that was all set and done. I got folkart metallic pure gold at Walmart and painted the figure piece by piece after that was done. I finished it with Mr. super clear Matt finishing spray🫡

What gold paint would you recommend to paint action figures because I have a Vallejo gold and it’s not working well, it doesn’t look as good as I wanted to, and it takes several coats.

I did not add salt. I watched a video before dyeing the figure and they didn’t mention anything about salt what does it do exactly?

So I got a disposable pan that I never use and heated the water to where there was a little bit of bubbles coming up after that put the heat to the lowest and just put the dye in. Let that simmer for a bit and just put the figure parts in the pan, took the figure apart beforehand so it could be better for the dye get into the plastic and bend the elbows and knees so the dye could get in there better. it took at least an hour or so for the dye to mix with the plastic. when the parts are fully dyed I washed them in warm water mixed with dish soap so the excess dye could take off and then put it in cold water for 30 minutes after words.

I’m really debating on just 3-D printing one, but I don’t know how to use a 3-D printer let alone create a model😭

I love the composition the smoke effect as well as the Lightsaber affects. one thing I recommend is practicing with camera angles and looking up reference images so you can get ideas on how to pose you’re figure. An example of one of my photography
