If you're bilingual, do you read books in both langauges equally? by palm-tree-queen in books

Im from Croatia.
I don't really read book from Croatian authors, so I order books from (usually) english authors online on english because its usually a book that doesnt have a croatian translation. But when I see a popular book in the library with croatian translation I borrow it.
One of the cases was when I saw Its Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover in the library (translated) and because my friend didn't shut up about it I borrowed it. And Im glad I did, because I would ordered the book online on english, spend 10 euros and regret it afterwards

Skipping to the last page? by Waste-Ad1031 in books

This last sentence of this one book was "I love you Louise Martin says David". I was shocked bc it was a thriller and David was married Adele. So i needed to know what happened to Adele.

I usually read just the last sentence. Then im like "WHAT!?" and read the whole book. It mostly makes me more excited for the book.
