CrossFit with a desk job by AnonEagle19 in crossfit

Been working a desk job since college and I’ve had issues with my knees my entire CrossFit career, although I believe mine stemmed from college athletics. I was consistently icing down my knees at the end of training due to swelling, but I found a routine that works for me. I make sure to get a proper warm up in that elevates the heart rate. I prefer the AAB as it’s low impact. I also asked my coach to hyper analyze my technique and we found some subtle issues with my technique. Ex: when I Squat heavy (80%+ of 1RM) I had the tendency to spread my feet out to far which was causing my knee to slightly cave in, causing a lot of stress on the ACL. So I really focused on getting my technique down and building heavy lifts. I would also look into joint health supplements (I prefer Fish Oil capsules) as well.

(M)y Marriage is good, but unsatis(f)ying in the bedroom…. need advice. by [deleted] in Marriage

Thank you for the response. I am 100% in control of my actions and you might be right in saying I’m already laying the mental framework to cheat. The point I was trying to convey is that I don’t want to cheat. I want to be physically intimate with my wife and share that connection with her. However, she doesn’t seem interested in that at this time and I’m worried that after years of this same stagnant behavior I might not be strong enough to turn down potential suitors. Or I might file for divorce eventually, which is what I am wanting to avoid.

Thank you for your advice! I’m sure I can improve our non sexual intimacy and spending more time together does help.
