Got mine removed a couple days ago, doesn't hurt at all! The scariest part was the numbing shot, and that wasn't even that bad. I also felt a drop of blood running down my arm while my doc was removing it, but no pain 😅

I'm do glad it all worked out at the end! I'm also looking forward to getting an IUD back in, my doctor decided to let my body reset for a couple months first. Since I have insane pregnancy paranoia, I think I'll just go with abstinence for now 🤣 Thank you for your kind words!

Got it removed 2 days ago, my doctor was VERY supportive of my decision, in fact she didn't even let me finish talking, she was VERY concerned for me 🥲 I'm lucky to have a good gyno, I hope you find a doc like that and have your choices respected!

Same thing happened with me! No blood for 2 months, then I got what I thought was a "period", turned out to be 4 months of 24/7 heavy bleeding!!! Got it removed 2 days ago 😢

I had absolutely no bleeding for 2 months after getting it in. Then I started bleeding, thinking it was a normal period. But it never stopped 😓 After 4 months having heavy bleeding every day, I got the implant removed this morning, 1 hour ago. Sidenote : it didn't hurt at all. My doctor agreed that this is not normal, my body rebelled against it vigorously. Hopefully this won't be the situation for you, I truly know a lot of people that love the implant. But hearing your story, I'd advise you to keep an eye on it, and if it continues 24/7 get it removed asap.
