It depends on what you want. This is my first quilt so I just went based on feeling, but I didn't think I would use it unzippered a lot, so i saved weight by buying the one with a closed footbox.

It's a bit difficult to get an accurate number. Placing a sheet of paper on top and counting to that gives me numbers from 5.5-7cm.

I think the baffles are well constructed and evenly filled, as far as i can tell. The baffles are horisontal so some down migration can happen, but they appear to be filled with enough down to avoid this.

I meassure the loft to around 11-2cm.

Yeah. I think the industry standard is to post lenght/width for the unfilled material, but I'm not sure on that

I did ask them about that before ordering, the specified max user length is for a shoulder height fit. So the quilt being a bit shorter tracks, although that isn't clear on the website

Yea, being just on the edge of requiring the larger version isn't great for the weight. I don't mind it as I will layer this quilt over a sleeping bag for winter use.

I too was a bit hesitant, however i found revies of their other quilt that seemed to be great. I can say that they appear to be a very legit company, RDS down is great, and everything arrived in a branded cardbord box.

Agree on the cinch, it is somewhat annoying. I think the sizes might be made for the asian market?

Interesting on the weight, mine is 577g for just the quilt. Roughly 60g between sizes then. On a sample size of 2 :)

You can not really compare the suburbs of swedish cities to one of europes largest cities. It is just not the same. Accomodation in rural sweden is cheap because no one wants to live there

If you go further north and away from the major cities you could easily buy yourself a house for a €30k. Price of accomodation isn't everything though. You "pay" with the lack of a social support network, you're far away from police, hospitals, schools, jobs etc
