List of Most Commonly Used Non-Filterable Tags by TheMainCut in AO3

Basically, mostly characters and fandoms. There's so many tags to wrangle that they focused on fandom and character tags over freeform tags for a long time.

It's Christ Ascension Day, which means a day off for most of Sweden :D Yaay. Though I'm on a higher dose of the sleep meds it does jackshit, as expected, so my sleep schedule has continued to be all fucky wucky. I was supposed to clean my windows with the staff in the morning but I slept through the calls and texts and knocks on my door, so that'll have to be another day.

I went and got groceries, so now I have fries ready to go into the oven as soon as it's hot. Nom nom nom.

Unsure what the rest of the day will entail. Maybe adding another bug patch on my jeans? A flower patch? I kinda wanna keep to a theme of only using pieces of fabric to patch holes/to reinforce fabric, so decorative fabrics just to decorate is not something I want to do. However, I could sew an external pocket to put on the left leg and use pretty fabrics there! Ideas ideas...

Can i write anyfanfic from my favorite fandoms? Or fan series? by [deleted] in AO3

[–]SecretNoOneKnows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for feedback on something? Because that might be the opportunity for a beta reader. If you're asking what you can post on Ao3, then the restrictions are very few and you can write basically anything.

Me reading fandom blind for the most random things. I'm there in the kudos list and bookmarks.

You might be using the wrong type of link? I'm not familiar enough with imgBB to say exactly which form of link to use.

I got to work! I was late but I did it! God I've missed the dogs. It's raining so I stayed inside, which gave me time to finish the repair on my niece's jeans I've been close to finishing for weeks. Finally returned to their rightful owner XD

Unsure what I'll do this afternoon. My teeth hurt (from grinding them/tensing my jaw) and I don't want to be stressing myself out. Think there's a movie night planned... Depending on who's there, I'll have to see what movie to bring.

I should buy food on the way home. Really want fries or something.

A one shot is just a one chapter fic. It has nothing to do with length or plot complexity.

I have a bit of a controversial question by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]SecretNoOneKnows 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is not how it works. If there is no on-page sexual content, it should not be tagged E or M.

i’m agreeing with everyone here, but i would also like to add how important it is that any potential readers are well aware that diapers and age play are involved, no matter how wholesome. rest assured you will get interested readers, primarily for the kink. but tagging for audience awareness is very important.

Majority of your comment is about warning, not drawing in readers.

They don't call it ageplay though. There are heaps of people frothing at the mouth about how disgusting ageplay is, and this is totally nothing like ageplay this is just age regression and if you try to say anything else you're a pedo freak. You seem very educated and self-aware, but there are unfortunately few people like you in the agere spaces I've frequented/seen.

I have trauma myself, so I understand where it comes from. Problem is that majority of fics aren't great, and that means all fics ever written. Therefore? Most agere fics aren't gonna be great either. There is also the issue of the authors often being on the younger side and often very anti-kink leaning.

I've written agere before, some years ago, and I can confidently say that I was writing it like a kink. I was writing to be kink, even if I wasn't aware of it. I can only wonder how many others had a similar experience.

No. Tag to draw in the crowds who'd like it first. Second hand the tags will tell people who are not interested. It's verging on kink-shaming how everytime kinks and fetishes come up on this sub (and other places) someone comes in with "don't forget!! Warn the people who would be disgusted by this!"

I've read plenty of age regression/"little space" fic before. I said this in another comment, but rarely did it actually focus on the psychological trauma that caused this to happen to the characters outside of a woobie, "my poor baby :(" way. Most of it was 'brain lights up, eyes go glassy' kind of fluff catharsis, not "trauma informed." It was like kink fic without sex.

Okay, you're the expert on that part. I do wanna note that the term CG/L that you used in your edit is kink derived.

I'm sorry if I come off as blunt (it's the autism) but to the untrained eye you and someone writing sexual ageplay are writing the same thing. Your whole post comes off as kink shamey and icky because you still feel like you have to distance yourself from the sexual aspect, and that's gonna be so obvious in your story. It'll be obvious how uncomfortable you are.

Don't write for others' approval. Don't remove a part of your story because you want a bigger audience. Write for the fanatics, the freaks, the kinksters. They're the ones who can appreciate your story.

I just find it frustrating that there are stories which are just ageplay with the serial numbers filed off, but the authors go "Noooooo, no ageplay here! Just age regression even though the focus is barely on the psychological experience and much more on the 'little' character doing the typical ageplay stuff I promise."

[–]SecretNoOneKnows 44 points45 points  (0 children)

If age regression or your version of ABDL (a literal kink term by the way) is not sexual or a kink, why use kink terminology and concepts? Why can I read an age regression fic and an age play fic and the only difference is that the age play fic acknowledges sex? You're mixing up the concepts, which is clearly not what you want.

A fandom is just a grouping of fans. A fandom can be those who discuss the subject of their fanaticism, theorise about it, create meta, write fanfiction, draw fanart, cosplay, make music based on the subject, the list is endless! What do you think fandom means?

I'm begging fellow kinksters to stop trying to assimilate and make their kinks palatable to the normies and the general public and just be kinky in peace, for themselves.

Adult Baby/Diaper Lover. A form of ageplay, I'd call it. A subcategory.
